Do not do business with this company. They charge exuberant rental fees then try to charge you additional money for alleged damage. The chipped windshield was from a previous rental and even had a sticker next to the damage. This is a very dishonest company.

Called multiple times today (two different numbers) to confirm if they have a vehicle for my reservation and no one answered the phone. Mind you, they close at 6pm and my first call was made right before 5pm. Unsat.

If I could give negative zeros I would!! Reserved a mini van way in advance so I could take my child to college. Well I get there right at 9am didn't open till 9:03 no caravan, then they proceed to tell me I'd have to wait 45min for the car!! What?? All they had on lot was a kia Sorento, well I figured better than nothing. well I get in and it's dirty as hell and no gas!!! So I had to cancel and I literally wasted an hour of my life and precious time I could have used moving my daughter. To say I am mad, livid and disappointed is an understatement. Another man was there for a truck and guess what no truck.

I've rented from this location quite a few times over many years, and unlike many of the other reviews, it's pretty much always been a good experience. I've always received good customer service from staff and the manager/owner, never have had any issues with the cars on a trip, and have no issues with returns. Usually, Im renting either a small car for a quick beach trip with a friend or a minivan for long family road trips. Once, and not most recently, I wasn't able to pick up a minivan I reserved, but they did offer an alternative. It just wasn't roomy enough for our family for such a long trip. Again, they did attempt to offer an alternative, however. I always rent with a credit card vs. debit, and as with any rental business , it makes the process easier. Things I do no matter where I rent from: pay attention to your receipt/agreement for possible errors, take pictures of the gas & mileage before/after, do a quick walk around the vehicle in case you note substantial damage you dont want to be responsible for, wipe down the inside for your own cleanliness/comfort. I had an error noted on the gas this return, and the manager was very pleasant and, after some quick research, corrected it without any hassle. Years ago, I received a minivan in error that hadn't been "turned around"/cleaned properly. I didn't notice until I got home and started my wipe down process. It wasn't a deal breaker, but I did mention it on my return when asked, "How was everything?". The manager was very apologetic and either offered a discount on that rental or my next one (I can't remember for sure and wouldn't want to lie), but I remembered being offered it because I was surprised. So, not to invalidate other reviews, but I personally will continue to rent from this location when needed at this time based on my experiences. No place is perfect, so my honest rating would be 4.5 , but that's not an option, so I opted for the full five stars.

Worst. Made reservations month ago and they have no car when we go to pick up. Put on a wait list. 2nd time with this place. Never ever again. Lucky I couldn't give no stars

We booked a 15 passenger van almost a month in advance for a trip to Disney. They called us an hour and a half the day of our trip to tell us they didn’t have a van available. Selwin was rude and antagonized us when we questioned him. He refused to give me his title or any additional information. He offered no solutions at all and refused to send us a cancellation email/receipt. We will be filing a few other formal complaints as well. Save yourself the trouble from this location with horrible customer service! We will never use Budget again!

My reservation was at 9 am and they open at 8am. Showed up and there was no employees there to check people in. Called customer service to see about changing my location to the other one to get a vehicle and was able to do so. Just to show up and they have no cars. Now i'm having to drive all the way back to the airport to wait around for an employee to show up ( that might not) to get a rental to drive to Atlanta.Another customer stated that employees show up late all the time. Inconvenience to the person helping me and causing my baby to become super frustrated. I will not ever use Budget or Avis again.

I had a reservation at 8:30 am, went to the counter at the Augusta Regional Airport to check in, and was told they didn't have anything clean in that size. It was 10:45am before any rental was issued to me. I called the 800 number and was told by one of their representatives that there is nothing they could do, since it is the responsibility of the individual sites to have the vehicles ready. I could go to another site and see if they had anything was the recommendation. As I was dropped off this was not an option for me. Additionally, they charged me a fuel charge; I returned the vehicle with a full tank of gas. I promptly disputed this charge and was issued a refund plus taxes and fees. Worst experience with Budget, at least at this location, as this was my first time and last time renting from this company.

If I would of saw all the 1 star ratings I would of never waisted my time going in the building. Booked a reservation online and when I got there the price went up 300 dollars like No way that’s possible and Then Rude Much!!!!!! Never Again

I would give them 0 stats if i could. We are very disappointed with the horrible experience we had. I called the location to inquire about a "full sized" SUV and was told that the standard SUV and full size were the same thing. I knew we needed a full/standard size because 3 adults and 2 children were traveling. We prepaid for the standard size (full amount). My husband picked up the vehicle and it was an intermediate SUV which created a very crammed trip and he was still charged for the standard size suv. While on the interstate the check engine light came on so he had to pause the trip and drive an additional 30 minutes out of the way and 30 minutes back to change the vehicle in which he was given an even smaller vehicle. I literally had to sit sideways in the back seat with my 2 kids because the space was so tight. Neither vehicle was clean upon pick up and upon returning the vehicle we were charged two additional fees that showed up on our credit card without explanation. Never again.

We prepaid for a vehicle with a 3rd row two months early and Budget canceled on us two days before our trip. And they weren’t even sorry about it. Save yourself the hassle and use someone else. When we called corporate to get our refund, they said they get calls about this Budget all the time. They’re just independent contractors so there’s not a lot they can do to make them behave better.

This place is alright. I ordered my rental back in Chicago to Georgia and I originally booked a full size truck and was given something smaller for my move so I had to get rid of most of my stuff so I felt like honestly it was a rip off ..the lady at the front was rude but I learned to looked past her ignorance .

Made a reservation at 10:25 on 3 Sept. Pickup was scheduled for 1130, and I was told when I made the phone reservation that if I didn't show I would be charged $50. Pre-paid for an suv. When I arrived at 11, I was informed they didn't actually have any SUVs, and they wanted to give me a smaller vehicle. I decided to take my own vehicle instead and called the number to cancel the reservation. They charged me $150 for canceling a reservation I held for half an hour, for a vehicle size they couldn't provide me.

I arrived to drop a rental car off and there were two young ladies sitting at the desk to receive the car. I explained to them that the Atlanta branch where I picked the car up told me that my refund for my courtesy rental would be rendered at the drop off point. The one lady that was talking to me told me that they had nothing to do with this and there was nothing that she could do for me. Now while this may be true, the lady was extremely rude and showed an extreme lack of care. What she fail to realize is that to the customer we see "Budget." We should not be held responsible for the different entities that Budget possesses. If you carry a name, you represent that name which means if you lose money as a branch, Budget loses money as a whole. I will not be renting from this establishment again. The very reason I had a courtesy rental was because I had issues in the past. Mind you they charged me for the car when I already had a receipt that showed I was only responsible for the taxes.. Horrible customer service at best.
