We're should I begin.... excellent location it buddies next the interstate and offers an assortment of venues to choose from. You can minutes from downtown Augusta. The staff was super friendly and on board with any help I needed. The front desk agent Raheem, went out his way to ensure that I was settled after checking in to a room that reeked of smoke, and left overs. Room lacked amenities and cleanliness.

Dirty, stained furniture, sheets & unclean toilets. I gave two stars for service only because Rahim, the young man who checked me in was trying his best. I booked 3 nights with Expedia & checked in late Sunday. Hotel is next to the highway. I was moved to 3 different rooms due to unclean conditions , sheets & toilets were unclean . The 3rd room had a clean bathroom but sheets were stained & the mattress sank in the middle. Terrible nights sleep & woke with neck pain. I Was awakened at sunrise with a wake up call that I never scheduled. I checked out next morning. I clearly expected a refund through Expedia for the remainder of my stay. Management was apologetic, claimed they were all new & offered a refund for the full stay & assured me that they were on the phone with Expedia to approve the refund. but later denied the refund for my night stay. Joe I believe the manager’s name was with another guy standing around like upper management does with their hands in their pockets. I left instead of getting on the phone with Expedia right there. I contacted Expedia a few minutes after leaving the hotel. They hadn’t heard from Candlewood Suites. . Very disappointing experience when there’s such a lack of integrity in corporate management these days. It’s all about money. The lesson: Don’t stay at Candlewood Suites & when you’re due a refund, get Expedia on the phone before you leave that front desk

Rude the staff lied on my family and my kids about snacks.Also called police and kicked me and my gf and my kids out in the rain plus when asked about proof or to watch video they lied and said they did..There will be a lawsuit otw!Food & drinks: DONT BELIEVE THEM WHEN THEY SAY IT WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR ROOM THEY WILL CLAIM YOUR STEALING!!

The employees were all super friendly and easy going and helpful. I enjoy staying at IHG hotels because they offer free laundry room service for the guests to use as well as free breakfast. This stay was well needed since I hadn’t showered in a few days and I am currently homeless. I used points and was able to stay for $35 and door dashed something to eat while staying here. So there’s plenty of restaurants that deliver here. Hopefully I can find an apartment soon and not have to keep couch hopping and staying at hotels.Noteworthy details: Free laundry service…washer and dryerFree breakfast

Checked in. Walked into the room and the room looked horrible. Dirty towels on the floor, on the counter, trash in the cans, poo in the toilet, bed had dirty linens, looked like someone just rolled out of the bed. The young lady at the front desk was very nice but said she couldn't give me another room because they were all booked. Room ended up getting cancelled and I'm still waiting to receive a phone call from management and also a full refund. I will NEVER stay at this location nor will I reccomend it to someone else. We were supposed to stay Dec 3 through Dec 7. I want my money back because I couldn't even stay at this hotel. Location is great. Everything else SUCKED.

Not worth one star! Don’t waste your time at this location. Save yourself the frustration from staff and owner.My original reservation was booked in advance on 9/19 at the IHG Candlewood Suites in Augusta GA. I made a change to my dates keeping the same number of rooms and guests. My family drove over 12 hours to be told by the front desk employee that one of our rooms had been cancelled. I asked by who? The employee said that she didn’t know but it wasn’t her. I then asked why weren't we notified by phone/email/text. She was told they didn’t have to notify guests. She said that property only allows one employee rate. I responded that the system allows you to make a reservation for 2 rooms, they also charged my card for the two rooms. QShortly thereafter, I received a call from a gentlemen asking if I was the individual at the front desk. I asked for him to identify who was calling my phone. He then said he was the owner of the property JC or JB possibly(strong accent). I told him that it was horrible customer service that I was not called or given the option to pay a different rate since this was the policy for this location. He said he was calling the police which I told him that it was fine.The officer arrived and took the statements from myself and the employee. The deputy understood our frustration and spoke to the employee to see if there was anything that they could do. She said that there weren’t any rooms available and the owner wanted us off the property. I requested a police report of the incident which he wrote and the deputy apologized for what we experienced and understood our point of view and it was bad customer service.I have never received this type of treatment from ANY IHG or any other hotel chain. This experience was unacceptable to say the least and I’m truly surprised in the manner in which this situation was handled.

This hotel should be condemned and shut down. My first room ended pretty short with a roach crawling out of the couch when I opened the sofa bed. Then found another roach crawling on the reclinable chair. After getting switched to the second room, the following day I went to grab a pair of clothes for the day, and one roach was crawling on my shirt that I planned to wear, and another roach was inside the shirt itself. There’s some kind of dirt, sticky film that covers every inch of fabric in the room, and you can tell that the hotel spent way more money on febreze plug ins that actually cleaning the rooms. You’ll notice them in the hallways and in the room if you stay here. You’ll also notice a very strange smell coming from the a/c unit when the fan starts to blow. I’m not exactly sure if I caught anything from this hotel, but I haven’t felt myself (normally healthy) since my stay began. If you care for your health, or your children’s health, I do not recommend you stay here. I’d also like to add that the side door of the building does not shut itself, allowing anyone who wants to into the hotel. The hallway also had a missing tile, and a clear water leak (there was an industrial fan constantly blowing to keep it as dry as possible.The prices might look good, but they are that low for a reason. I can assure you that I won’t be returning, or recommending this place to anyone.Noteworthy details: Disgusting

I have stayed at a Candlewood Suites in Houston TX for a 2 week stay, so decided to check it out here for this longer assignment. I travel for work around the SE USA, but most often it is for a few days to a week at the most in a single location. I just stayed at this location for about 10 weeks while on assignment to a local company. I could not be more pleased with my experience! Room was great, staff was helpful! Price was very reasonable and fit the budget for my type of work! And Betty was a wonderful host!! I have recommended several of my associates that have been staying at other local hotels to check Candlewood Suites out!!! I doubt I will have an opportunity to stay this long again in the future, but I will stay here when I come for shorter visits! This was what made my trip away from home and family bearable!!! Solid winner!!!!! And I will be checking out other CSs in the future on other assignments in other locations!Rooms: I stayed in largest room available, and it did not feel like a hotel room as much as it did a small apartment. Having a furnished kitchen, pantry, full size refrigerator, and a stove was invaluable. And a bedroom separate from the living area made it feel more like a home than a hotel! Winner, winner chicken dinner!

Paula decided to extend us for another night and charge us even though we didn't want to or give permission. We left at 6am on the day we checked out which was 1 day. We asked her to pull up the phone records and the cameras to show that we did NOT extend but she said she couldn't. The cleaning lady said our room was cleaned yesterday after we left as proof and Paula said we still couldn't get our money back. The cleaning service is AMAZING but Paula needs to be fired. We have never had this problem until she started

Kitchenette: 2 electric stove tops, dishwasher that doesn't stink at all, sink gets hot and cold water quick, medium house size fridge. The Kitchenette is pretty damn good.Bathroom: Nice, clean, and roomy compared to most hotels. The sink and shower get hot and cold water quick. No build up of mold anywhere in the 2 rooms I had.Bed: Nice, clean and comfy. Different level of fluffiness pillows and blankets.Room: Spacious and clean. All the lights actually work and there's so much room for activities. Enough outlet options to run a construction site.Service: The service is phenomenal. The front desk people are friendly and very helpful. The room service did an outstanding job cleaning my messy stuff up without touching my stuff.This hotel is amazing for the price. You're getting +$150 quality hotel for $90. Idk why anyone would choose another hotel that costs more with less to offer.

Extremely kind employees!!!!The hotel was really nice too - loved all the decor and having a full kitchen… even full fridge.Sadly I was there for only 1 night - so didn’t get to use much but by far a lovely stay!I would definitely recommend.Seemed like some construction was happening, but I had no issues with noise or privacy.Definitely would stay here again.Convenient location as well.I believe they had breakfast, but I missed it!Coffee available anytime.Sold hardy TV dinner style meals and ice cream as well.Thank you!!
