We called ahead and were advised how to weigh but once we arrive someone other than who we’d spoken to did our weigh. It was my first time weighing and the woman I’d spoken to over the phone explained the process in a very simple and easy to understand manner. The person who was there when we arrived, however, maybe hadn’t been informed of the same procedure. I ended up having to do four weigh tickets that day. The male manager that I spoke to seemed to understand the issue so I only had to pay for two of the weigh tickets. Upon my return the female manager was there attempting to explain that it “didn’t matter” how we did our military weigh-ins. It absolutely does.We empathized with the young lady who was doing the best she could with the training she had. The female manager insisting that the manner in which we did military weigh-in, however, was disappointing. It absolutely does matter. I would have happily explained that process but she quoted her 10 years of CAT experience as a reference. I could tell she was already defensive maybe at having to come in a little earlier due to the issues but at no point was I rude; I was firm about having to pay twice due to an error on their part.Overall we were able to get the issue resolved but I can only imagine other service members having to double pay if they so happen to get an attendant who is not aware of how to do the weigh. Afterwards, the female manager suggested we should have been on one platform (which makes sense) instead of two but all four weigh-ins were done the same way and each time we pressed the buzzer it was simply “pull around” even tho they have a visual in the shop to see weigh placement was on two platforms.I would still recommend this location primarily due to convenience and the one knowledgeable individual we spoke to who was actually familiar with military weigh-ins. I would suggest confirming on the buzzer before pulling off the scale that you’re correctly positioned if you’re in a POV for DITY move.For reference, we went in the morning and there was not a lot of foot traffic at the time. All four weigh-ins were in and out ventures except when the attendant reached out to a manager on the first error ticket.
