About Comfort House
Comfort House is a warm and welcoming place that feels like a home away from home. The board members treat guests like family, providing support such as receiving packages before arrival. The shared kitchen, living room, and laundry room, along with private bathrooms and televisions in each room, make for a comfortable stay. Guests appreciate the clean and quiet environment, as well as the nearby greenbelts for walks. The staff is kind and attentive, going out of their way to help, and even providing homemade treats. Comfort House is a valuable resource for those needing to be close to loved ones in the hospital.

I don't know what we would have done without this place. Thank you to everyone who helps make this happen. It's very humbling to know that people really do care.

Private room and bath available for me and my adult children while visiting my veteran husband in Augusta University Medical Center following a stroke. Hospitality and kindness were plentiful from staff. Community kitchen and laundry available, as well as community living room.
