I HATE THAT THESE PEOPLE BOUGHT OUT THE SECURE STORAGE THAT WAS ON PEACH ORCHARD ROAD IN AUGUSTA GA. I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS LYING COMPANY A -20 STARS. THEY DON'T DESERVE ONE STAR. HERE'S MY SITUATION. I SPOKE WITH DAVID (PROPERTY MANAGER) ABOUT SWITCHING MY UNITS BECAUSE I WAS PAYING $137 A MONTH FOR A 10 X 15 (WITH SECURE STORAGE THAT THIS SROA PEOPLE BROUGHT OUT) AND ONLINE THE STORAGE WAS $87 FOR A 10 X 15 (WITH SROA). DAVID AND I CAME TO AN AGREEMENT WHERE I WOULD SWITCH UNITS AND BECOME A NEW CUSTOMER. DAVID THEN RESERVED THE UNIT NEXT DOOR TO MY UNIT. EXACTLY NEXT DOOR. WHEN I CAME TO SIGN THE PAPERS FOR THE NEW UNIT DAVID WAS OFF THAT DAY AND ERICA (ANOTHER PROPERTY MANAGER) STATES DAVID PUT ME DOWN AS A TRANSFER AND THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL. I ADVISED THIS UNEDUCATED LIAR THAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO PAY THE $29 FOR THE NEW UNIT CAUSE I'M GOING TO BE A NEW CUSTOMER. ERICA STATES DAVID DIDN'T PUT MY RESERVATIONS IN THE SYSTEM AS A NEW CUSTOMER SO SHE WOULD HAVE TO DO IT AS A TRANSFER. ERICA ALSO STATED THAT BECAUSE I'M A TRANSFER AND NOT A NEW CUSTOMER INSTEAD OF GETTING TWO MONTHS FREE, I WOULD ONLY GET ONE MONTH FREE AND MY PAYMENT WOULD NOT BE DUE UNTIL THE NEXT MONTH WHICH IS MAY. THIS WAS ON APRIL 6, 2024. A COUPLE DAYS LATERS I WAS CHECKING MY EMAIL AND I GET AN EMAIL STATING MY BILL IS PASS DUE. I CONTACT DAVID AND HE TELLS ME THAT THERE'S NOTHING HE CAN DO NOW THAT ERICA DID ALL THE PAPERWORK AND THAT HE WOULD CONTACT HIS SUPERVISOR AND GET BACK TO ME. TRUSTING DAVID AND TRYING TO BE PATIENT, I WAITED ABOUT 3-4 DAYS. NO WORD FROM DAVID. SO I CALLED DAVID BACK AND HE STATES HIS SUPERVISOR TOLD HIM TO GO BY ERICA'S NOTES. IN THESE NOTES ERICA STATES THAT I NEVER MENTIONED DAVID PROCESSING ME AS A NEW CUSTOMER AND I DIDN'T HAVE AN ISSUE WITH NOT GETTING THE TWO MONTHS FREE AS STATED ONLINE. ERICA IS A LIAR! DAVID IS A LIAR! AND THE SUPERVISOR IS A FRAUD. TODAY IS APRIL 24. 2024 AND MY STORAGE BILL IS $218. THESE DEVILS HAVE ADDED MAY. AND DAVID ADVISED ME TODAY THAT 7 DAYS AFTER YOUR BILL IS DUE THE UNIT IS LOCKED UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED. THE HAVE MY STORAGE LOCKED. I'M GOING TO PAY THESE DEVILS THERE MONEY FOR MY STORAGE FOR THE MONTH ON APRIL AND I WILL BE GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE THEY KEEP THEIR WORD WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE PLACE AND AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL EMPLOYEES.

These people are THIEVES. They will steal your property and make you go through MONTHS of “claims processing” to make things right. The people in their claims department are rude and careless, the property manager is a thief and this company is known for horrible service. Go literally ANYWHERE ELSE you would be better off leaving your property on the side of the street than leaving your things in this facility. Awful customer service, dirty poorly taken care of units, awful staff. The ONLY good thing I have to say is to the woman who initially helped me when I called customer service about my missing property the rest of this company is trash

Subject: In-Depth Review and Grievance Against Storages of America (Grovetown)Dear Storages of America Customer Relations Team,I hope this message finds you, although the content may not reflect the same sentiment. I am compelled to articulate my profound dissatisfaction and share a distressing experience with Storages of America. My intention is to provide a comprehensive account, shedding light on the gravity of the situation and instigating a reevaluation of customer service practices within your organization. My journey with Storages of America began as a routine customer seeking services, but it quickly transformed into a distressing saga, necessitating legal intervention. The unsettling incident unfolded at the Grovetown location, subjecting me not only to disheartenment but also to undue hardship and harassment by one of your employees. The severity of the situation impelled me to seek legal counsel, as my attempts to engage with Storages of America were met with indifference. Upon finally securing an audience with Regional Manager Kristi in December 2023, I anticipated a modicum of understanding or, at the very least, acknowledgment of the distressing ordeal I endured. To my dismay, Kristi's response was marked by callousness, devoid of empathy or professionalism.Rather than addressing the gravity of the situation, Kristi insisted on settling my current month's bill before engaging in any meaningful discussion. This lack of acknowledgment for the emotional and financial toll the situation took on me compounded my disappointment. Her dismissive tone and the remark, "I am sorry you got your feelings hurt," demonstrated a profound disregard for the profound impact of the events on my well-being.The incident leading to the seizure of my belongings was triggered by an employee at the Grovetown location who, based on my perceived "nonchalant attitude," took it upon themselves to teach me a lesson. The crux of the issue appeared to be my inability to sell items from my storage units on the property, prompting an unjust and drastic response from the said employee.Adding an extra layer of peculiarity to this already bizarre narrative, during my last attempt to visit the Grovetown location, the employee in question not only saw fit to promptly lock the door upon my arrival but also followed me in her personal vehicle to the Augusta location. In an attempt to address the situation, I engaged in a phone conversation with her co-worker and supervisor (Jimmy). However, my efforts were interrupted as she boldly entered the office, prompting me to leave to avoid unwarranted police involvement. Now, turning our attention to the legal aspects of this unfolding drama, it is imperative to highlight the Georgia laws that Storages of America seemingly transgressed. Georgia law explicitly prohibits the illegal eviction of tenants, outlining specific procedures that must be adhered to, including providing notice periods and ensuring due process.Furthermore, Georgia law mandates that landlords afford tenants reasonable access for the removal of their belongings before undertaking any action, such as the seizure or disposal of property. The impromptu ultimatum and subsequent seizure of my items, without adequate notice or a fair opportunity to comply, raise concerns about potential contravention of these legal provisions. This account is not intended to elicit sympathy but rather to underscore the pressing need for a comprehensive review of customer service practices within Storages of America. I urge a thorough investigation into the actions of your employees and a genuine commitment to rectifying the deficiencies in customer service that I have personally endured. It is with regret that I inform you of my intention to pursue legal action to address the injustices I have faced. I sincerely hope that Storages of America takes swift and corrective measures to prevent the recurrence of such incidents in the future, aligning with the tenant protection laws of Georgia.Signed,You need better staff!

Not only has my rent risen $40 since I got it. I'm almost paying DOUBLE what I rented it for. Today I drove 40 minutes to get something out of my shed and the gate to the property was broken and there customer service number I called said I could return the next day. I missed out on a $200 sale of merchandise. I will absolutely be moving my belongings to another company. I'd give zero stars if I could.

I have never dealt with a company that has no concern for their customer. Someone stole all our items in storage. My granddaughter came home from college and her microwave, refrigerator, large storage containers, hot pink trunk full of school supplies, and all of her winter clothes designer jeans, sweaters, UGGS, etc. My husband had just placed his items 3 weeks ago. Winter leather coats, work coats, sweaters and his favorite football team jackets "Raiders". I have called the customer service staff 3 times leaving messages for the District Managet and I haven't received not 1 call! This is a horrible place!!! We are heart broken it is a violation. I was told that the lock was left open. So not true! The last time my husband went was 3 weeks ago. If my storage was left open from that time, why did it take that long to enter 6/21/23 on a day it was closed. That is not the truth. You can't get the key out of the lock until you lock it and then the key is released. Also, you can only come in and out with a code for the gate. No working cameras. How can people get away with this type of conditions? The police said they have had a lot of burglary . I prayed and God is going to fight this battle and the truth will be revealed. That 1 star should be removed. Horrible

I had an amazing experience with several storage agents, who went above and beyond to help me locate a facility. I was very impressed by their attentive desire to assist me. Thank you.
