Absolutely amazing and honest staff! I went to another repair shop and they told me I needed front and rear brake pads and rotors replaced, then quoted me over $1000. I went here for a second opinion and they told me I only needed the front pads and rotors replaced and charged me just under $300. Called around 7 auto repair shops in the augusta area and they were the cheapest. They absolutely could’ve told me the rear needed replacing as well, but they were honest. I would rate them six stars if I could! I’ll definitely be going to them for any future problems, and I cannot recommend them enough.

Ask for Justin. Probably one of the best mechanics to work on my vehicles.

I was very hopeful initially but I learned pretty quickly that there are many levels to the service recieved at this particular shop and that begins with who is determined by the Secretary's opinion to actually be the paying customer as she sees it. With this in mind, I've learned that the level of quality and service recieved in my case was the bare minimum of anything Id ever asked of them simply because my vehicle was considered a work order or refferal accompanied by a payment voucher with a list of repairs that Duane of Auto Credit and I had previously sat down, discussed and agreed upon having those listed repairs completed correctly and to my liking as per our agreement in order to complete and close our deal on the successful purchase of an Auto Credit Vehicle. Unfortunately, by the time my vehicle and the list of repairs that I've requested be completed actually arrive in the shop the list is immediately redacted with absolutely NO discussion with the purchaser of the vehicle. Well just to be sure that this didn't happen to me as it did to others I'd always go over the entire list with the front desk person to ensure that they understand that I as the purchaser truly want everything completed just as its agreed so that theres no mistakes or miscommunications unless its do purposely. Ofcourse the shop reassures that each procedure from my tune up would be done replacing spark plugs, wires or coils depending on vehicle style oil change etc. Brake pads and rear drums, rotars, radio malfunctions. Passenger door handle, initially from left tire at that was time leaking slowly from tiny hole, etc. Let's just say that I recieved my vehicle back with possibly 2 out of the items completed and cheapened alternatives for the work that I had requested of the David Fields Tires and Brakes location however I'm lied to directly in my face by their Secretary who tells me that ALL OF THE PROCEDURES THAT I HAD ASKED OF THEIR SHOP(David Fields Tires And Brakes) TO COMPLETE PRIOR TO MY RETURN TO RETRIEVE MY VEHICLE JUST AS ID BEEN PROMISED BY HER( the female receptionists) AND DUANE (Auto Credit Service Department Person) DUANE, had assured me on multiple occasions that my Full Tune Up was Completed along with the front and rear Brakes that were needed along with the rotars and the front left tire eing replaced even though be also knew that this was false. I still have the proof readily available along with statements from the tire shops that will verify that the first time my bad tire had made identifiable to easily determine that bad tires location, It was simply removed from the FRONT LEFT POSITION to the REAR LEFT POSITION and he next time I returned it was even discussed what had happened during the 1st visit and where the bad tire was located and why it even reads via TPMS as if its still llon the FRONT LEFT even though it's clearly NOT in the position anymore. Still even today the bad tire remains in the REAR LEFT POSITION right there leaking away just the same as it was since DAY 1. Why you ask, Because they really wrote up a bill replacing the front 2 tires during my 2nd visit without first correcting the Mistake made during the FIRST VISIT by the FIRST Technician. By the way still no Tune Up as I the Certified Mechanic and Customer who's purchased or purchasing the vehicle to risk my life driving it. It gets even worse but I honestly don't see the need to go further as it explains enough thus far but I will mention this last point now. I still need my Tune Up today as promised but they thought that just cleaning the throttle body and clearing the code was just as acceptable which I was later told about only after pointing out that my service engine light came right back on afterwards and I had checked to see that NO Tune up was done. So on this final day it was admitted that the usually try cleaning the throttle body first one time and then they complete the tune up as initially requested if the service engine light comes back on. At that point I was far more than upset bu

These guys are AWESOME!! If you want a quality job done by mostly professional people... This is definitely the place. I say mostly professional ONLY because the guys there know how to enjoy humor and bring fun into their jobs and it seems to help them fine tune the quality of the work they produce. It also helps relieve the awkwardness and stress of sitting in a waiting room for your car. Speaking of waiting room: they JUST had a brand new HVAC system installed to add comfort to the list of things to make your visit easier and more managable. Go see them and you will see what i mean! Thanxx a million guys!

Here is a (recently moved to this location) Auto Fleet repair facility I trust. Usually they are very busy with Fleet Repairs and fixes for the (next door) AC Auto Sales lot, but if you can schedule time to talk to the front desk for an appointment they can repair almost any (weird) problem you might have gotten your car into. Prices are reasonable...they are better if you arrive with breakfast sandwiches when you drop off your car. I trust my mechanic Justin who works on my 40 year old MGB, my 20 year old Honda, and my 20 year old BMW. Thank you. Joe
