HobbyTown Augusta is a locally-owned and operated destination for hobbies, described as fantastic and beyond ordinary. The store has moved to a new location that is bigger, clean, and organized. It offers a large selection of items, including awesome RC vehicles, toys, games, models, trains, drones, planes, boats, legos, anime, tabletop gaming, STEM games, and model kits. The store features a race track for testing RC cars, though it is noted as being kinda small and meant for smaller vehicles. The staff provides the best customer service, from sales to the RC repair team, and are a real help in finding items. If something is not in stock, they will order it with a 10% discount. Some note a desire for more RC items, as the space is roughly half RC and half games, and observe that it is a place for more expensive things like RC vehicles, with many parts available for repairs. A minor point is that not all items are priced, so customers need to ask. The store also hosts events for all ages.
Honestly while the downsize will take a bit to get used to, it brought out a really nice atmosphere! The staff were really attentive, friendly, and offered good advice for gunpla. Will happily shop there again!
