This is a very nice hotel. The moment that I walked in the front doors, I thought it was nice. It was really clean and had a great first appearance. It is beautifully decorated with nice furniture and the colours are rich. I instantly felt happy. The front desk person was pleasant and had good customer service. Parking was good and I could see my vehicle from my room. My room was nice and clean and stocked appropriately. I enjoyed my stay while I was here and I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone. The bartender was a pleasure and the housekeeping ladies that I spoke with were friendly as they greeted me and their customer service came with a smile.Noteworthy details: The entire hotel was furnished beautifully and the hallways were all free of any laundry and trash.

We decided to cancel our Myrtle Beach trip and go to Augusta & stay at this hotel for New Years, had a great time up until going to the roof top bar in New Years Eve & not getting service from either bartender & having to go downstairs fir drinks. When we returned with our food, I went to the bathroom & left our food & a cigar on the table only to return to all our items being thrown in the trash. When we questioned where our items were, the bartender pulled the cigar out of the trash & passed it back & said here you go. That was a slap in the face to think someone would take something out of the trash & put it back in there mouth, she stated she would take something off our bill & never did. Three days later & management still have not followed up. Sad because the front front staff & Don were great the first night.Sometimes it's just a phone call to make things right & not be ignored.

We loved everything about this place and have no complaints. It's clean and modern. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast items are much fresher and tastier than what other hotels offer. We come to Augusta often so this will definitely be our go-to in the future. Great job, Hyatt!Rooms: Very clean, modern and spacious.Food & drinks: Great bar and Starbucks offerings. Decent selection of food and the buffet breakfast is very nice.

Recommend staying here: YesOverall excellent hotel. Encountered some minor room problems which the front desk promptly and professionally solved.Nearby activities: Numerous shopping and restaurant opportunities nearby.Food & drinks: Be sure to go to breakfast early because oatmeal, pancakes, and other foods like yogurt were already gone at 8:45 AM. The breakfast host said something like “that’s already gone.”

Had a very excellent experience. The room was very nice as well as clean. Loved the bar and customer service of the agent. Location was convenient to everything, even our venue. Would definitely recommend or stay again if in the area again.

Need to sort of shampoo the carpet a lil more often. But I will definitely be making another trip and whenever I come to GA this will be my vacay home stay! Thank you for a great hospitality all the way down to the breakfast food was wonderful!

While the rm did looked spacious, there was a strong smell of mildew. I was here for 2 weeks. It wasn't until 2nd wk before it became tolerable. I was too lazy to make changes. I've asked for daily vacuum service. I've noticed it should be from AC, so I minimized use. They need dehumidifier running even when unoccupied. Breakfast was very nice, the staff was friendly. However, if I had to do it again, I'd probably ask to evaluate another rm or hotel. Next time, may still give it another chance, but if I walk in and smell mildew, I will go to another hotel. If you smell mildew when you walk in, just go to another hotel.

We arrived late to our room to be told that we didn't have a room available and that they were sold out, even with our existing reservation. We were sent down the road to a hotel that was pretty terrible- unclean, unsafe feeling, bad smelling, a fraction of the price nightly that the Hyatt charges, etc. Not sure why Hyatt would book and move customers to this type of hotel with customers that were booked at the Hyatt in the first place. Hyatt told us that they would pay for the room at the new hotel, but when we arrived, the new hotel asked for a $150 deposit & the next day, we were also charged by the new hotel for the room. I spoke to someone at this Hyatt location and they were very friendly and told me the problem would be taken care of. But, unfortunately, the situation that occurred could have been preventable & put us in a unsafe situation late at night out of town.

It was the worse hotel experience I have ever had! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone! This hotel needs a major overhaul. I would think that a Hyatt hotel would be of a much better caliber than this Hyatt Place Augusta. I do not recommend that anyone stay at this hotel.

Great stay: quiet, clean, odor-free. A/C had a little trouble cooling room but it was adequate. Wonderful breakfast with kind and helpful servers included oatmeal, fresh berries, fruit, yogurt, eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, waffles, and cold cereal. Awesome herbal tea selection. Could be even better with the addition of plain yogurt and oatmeal for travelers desiring less sugary options and gluten-free bread. But from staff to accommodations, well done, Hyatt.

Our room didn't have a door to the bathroom. We were given the runaround and told that maintenance would come take a look and there were not any additional rooms available for us to move to. We waited for hours and were never contacted. Finally we decided to go to dinner and were told maintenance gets off at 4:00 pm (we called at 5:00). The maintenance supervisor checked it out while we were at dinner. No one called us. I had to go back again, and the guy at the desk (don't remember his name but he had a small facial tattoo) said there was nothing they could do. We asked "How do you not know that one of your rooms is missing a door to the bathroom?" The answer was that the room was supposed to be marked as unavailable. We have a teenager that was running in the AAU Regional track meet all weekend. He needs his privacy and doesn't want people to see him shower. We were also concerned that if someone had to do #2 the whole room would stink. We were very frustrated and called the customer care line to submit a complaint. The person I spoke with (I didn't get her name) was very helpful and deserves a raise. She apologized, empathized with us, and called another nearby hotel to try to get us in. They didn't have double beds (there are 4 of us) but she did everything she could to try to help us out. She even suggested seeing if we could get the hotel to hang a blanket over the doorway. The staff in the lobby didn't try to offer any accommodation for us. Also, she suggested using the restroom in the lobby to avoid the room stinking if someone did #2.I would not suggest this location.

Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast options. Lobby, lounge, and amenities are all great. The rooms are decent but there are some maintenance issues that could be addressed - my room had a door that didn't close fully on its own, some mildew in the shower, and the telephone and clock radio were old and in need of replacement. The location is good in terms of access to the highway and some great nearby food options.Walkability: Few sidewalks but the roads are not too busy and it is possible to cross safely. A crosswalk or sidewalk would be nice though.

Price was fair, bar was nice, nice outdoor areas.Seems a safe location.

I stayed here for a weekend stay and i definitely would recommend anyone staying here. The Hotel customer service was phenomenal. The staff was always attentive to all my needs to ensure I had a good stay. I felt safe that there was always someone at the front desk. The rooms were modern and clean. There is a ton of parking for free. They have breakfast every morning consisting of the norm lite breakfast options ie bacon, eggs, pancakes or French toast cereal, toast, nothing extravagant but it was decent. This hotel also has a pool outside and a really cute patio area. I also loved the fact there was a bar to enjoy a cocktail in the evening they served bar food as well. All in all I would def go stay there again!

Hyatt place is on of the best hotels I've stayed at. They are very nice, accommodating, and clean. They are even pet friendly! Excellent service and great breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.
