I like Lowes as they have a variety of items for an affordable price, but on delivery I had bad experiences....and they charge. VS Home Depot you get free delivery.

If you're looking to install a fence don't waste your time! I set an appointment online and I was given a 5 hour window for them to arrive and nobody showed up, waste of a whole afternoon for nothing. Tried to call and find out what happened and nobody answers the phone. Guess they don't want business!!!

Order online pickup in store for items that are shipped in is very slow (3 weeks for anti-skid paint) when ordering wood products have to recheck every piece. Whoever pulls the order, as boards crooked/warped, splits and apparently sawmill errors and should be sold as 2nds not full price, is not able to check for such and just pulls items. No quality control, or pride in job or perhaps just not trained properly. Store is not understaffed as numerous employees walking the floors but only 1 register with an actual employee. Customer Service desk backed up with people returning items with issues (again due to either lack of training or no pride, just there to put in their hours) all the way out the door and down the main aisles as only 1 person there. So do managers and corporate not monitor situations?

Lowes is usually good place, but here lately the paint seems to be not what you purchase, and when you call customer service they ask you 59 million questions and tell you to call Valspar to correct it, when we purchased from Lowes. Lowes needs to get it together! Because they lost a very good customer! Home Depot here we come!
