i hate that i have watched first hand the decline of this place. office depot used to be my wallet's kryptonite, but now i have to force myself to go & it really sucks. ivan is a real winner for sure. he always greets you with a not-so-friendly reminder of what time they close (bc he apparently ALWAYS has somewhere important to be.) then, most recently, i was returning an item, he asks to see the receipt, i tell him i have it on the app. i finally find it, even though i only needed store credit for an exchange, to which he replies "it has to be the paper receipt." he has already rung up my other items & keeps insisting that i pay for them, like he already had 0 plans of issuing store credit. clearly it doesn't HAVE to be the paper receipt bc i definitely just hit "email receipt" on the card reader. i guess he wasnt ready for that response & he got so angry he balled up his fists & walked away from the register to take what appeared to be a "breather" while being calmed by another employee. while im standing there. without my items paid for. go ahead ivan, if you're that mad, hit me next time. bc all i did was come to buy office supplies & exchange one item for another - WITH MY ELECTRONIC RECEIPT.

Today, I purchased two printer toner cartridges from the Office Depot in Augusta, GA. During checkout, I specifically asked if there were any discounts on toner cartridges. I was told that there were not any. When I returned home, I reviewed my receipt and discovered the price I was charged was over twenty dollars more than the price online. When I called the store, I was told the store will only match an online price when you specifically request it and show it to the checkout person. Additionally, I was told employees are directed to not use the online price, again unless they are asked by the customer. This is arguably one of the most deceitful business practices I have ever heard of.

Came to get something printed. Worst example of customer service I’ve ever had. Bartman was extremely rude. Ivan was extremely friendly and was very helpful, and was doing everything he could. But bartman was just standing at the computer refreshing the email with a piss poor attitude. Won’t be back. Tell Ivan I said keep it up tho, if he was to get another customer service job in a better environment he would probably flourish.

Print job supposed to be ready at 6? Good luck. You’ll just stand there for another hour without any sort of communication. One employee is asleep, the other is staring at me, but the one that should be communicating won’t even look at me. Why even give a pickup time?

Charged $5.02 to have 2 staples put in the middle of an instruction manual. $.15 per staple (.32) and $4.70 full service charge bringing my total to $5.02 for 2 little staples which were put in wrong. The smooth side was on the inside of the manual while the side that will stick me if I run my hand down the manual. Shoddy work and service!!!!! I will take my business to another office supply store after being a customer of Office Depot since they opened in Augusta GA.

Worse customer service experience I have ever received. My order was a day late and when I picked up I was expecting to receive what I ordered which was 100 count 80lb paper 5x7 print outs. The paper was extremely thin. I called and spoke with a manager and he told me that there was nothing he could do. That I would have to reorder and pay full price again. I then called customer service and they lied as if they were going to contact the store to have my order reprinted and I never heard back from anyone.
