Wanted to reopen an account and put some money and see different products. They are slow and no one in the front to greet you or anything. You better do it online or call.Navy Federal Credit Union is the best and since you get there you feel valued.

I'm not satisfied with Penfed at all. It's too much with them. At first, I couldn't pay my GP bill online. It took forever for them to fix that. I deposited a check in my account. It's been almost a week, and the money still hasn't been released in my account. Ridiculous.

I have a loan through them and the online payment system has basically never worked. I have talked to them on the phone and emailed the error I get and yet nothing changes. Don't get a loan with them if you expect online banking to work.

Long wait times, If you want to make a principal only payment on a loan, you can only do it by calling , and then they wont accepts unless the funds are in their savings account - Just do yourself a huge favor and skip -

Jasmine with the customer service team was exceptional and is absolutely an asset to your team. She was genuinely friendly and very helpful. I would give 10 stars if I could.Edit : I reached her by calling the 800 number, not sure If she works out of this branch or from home but she deserved the review and I hope it makes it to right person.Chris

This bank has to be the most dumbest bank ever. If I could give zero stars I would. I have been trying for 5 months now to change my address and phone number on my account. They tell me send in certain documents and I do. Then they keep denying it. Have you ever heard of a bank that denies you access to your account? Then when I told the rep I give up and close the accounts she says oh well we can’t without a phone number or verification. This bank doesn’t help you with rates , credit etc. they just want your money to play with . Most credit unions offer you a credit card or loans something. They don’t do nothing. You better off at horrible Wells Fargo or BOA. Please do not bank here. It’s not worth it the headache.Their are so many normal credit unions were you can reset your password after asking security questions or even a link sent your email.

If my husband and I could them a .5 rating we would do so in a heartbeat. The service has declined since we started banking with PFCU in 1985. The interactions and customer service is unfriendly and contentious leaving us to respond the same way. Then to make matters worst, we were advised to transfer more money from our savings account in order for us to pay a collision company in order to pick up my car. Who advises a person to keep transferring large amounts of money just to create another 5 business day hold and the vendor is still not being paid. We are absolutely done with PenFed and will be moving our funds and closing our account as soon as we can by the end of next week. Stay away from these none caring workers and unapologetic business.

Worst credit union in the history of credit unions. Refinanced a vehicle for a $200 promotion and they screwed me out of receiving said promotion.

I had visited PenFed Credit Union today and my interaction with Mary was so so amazing. I was in a time crunch to buyout my current vehicle, she sincerely cared about my situation and went above and beyond to help me out with my auto loan processing. I sensed that everyone at the branch were very caring and optimistic. I appreciate everything very much and and will continue to keep business with PenFed.
