We just took our small dog there for grooming this past weekend and today I walked past and it was empty, called and was informed closed for seasonal not sure what that means. Does anyone know if the groomers are still around town? Love the groomers best one's yet, hope they return or at least read the reviews. My experience was a 5 and so I will rate on that.

A family friend has a dog that has a naturally funky smell to him and she booked an appointment with a local groomer but was disappointed when her dog came back smelling the same. We recommended her to this kennel and she was genuinely shocked when she got him back smelling like a brand new dog! They're awesome.

D'Tails Pet Grooming

He absolutely loves going there and nudges me on the days he just knows is his day! The staff is awesome. The building is always clean and not smelly. I also have an older poodle who is groomed there and they do great job with her. And of course, they are my go to place for boarding when I go out out of town for a few days.

3998 Belair Rd, AugustaI am so grateful for the entire staff at Paradise Animal Hospital. Peggy listened to my urgent concern for my dog who was having abdominal pain. She managed to squeeze me in for a same day appoinment. The Veterinary Assistant, Jesse, reviewed the entire history of the situation and treated my dog as if he were her own. Jesse shared everything that they may need to do for my dog. I did not meet Dr. Henderson until after my dog was thoroughly evaluated in her office/treatment room. Dr. Henderson provided a systematic and detailed narrative of her findings. Although I did not witness the actual evaluation of my dog, I came away from the appointment confident in the care my dog received and that Dr. Henderson provided a practical and methodical diagnosis and treatment for my dog. The next day Dr. Henderson called to check on my dog and ensured me that she and her office would be available if I needed them. I did call them the following day, and, as promised, Jesse and Dr. Henderson were available to answer a question about the care for my dog. Thankfully, my dog is back to excellent health. I appreciate all of the help and treatment I received.

I had the consultation with Dr. Rossman who was kind and very knowledgeable about Buddy’s health. He explained her situation and what was best to do. He was not rushed and encouraged questions about anything I didn’t know or understand. Having a pet with a serious illness is heartbreaking and it helps to have medical care staff that is compassionate as well as knowledgeable. I recommend the staff at Blue Pearl if you all need help for your fur babies.

Graced Kennel Boarding, Daycare and Training
1918 Colony Park Rd, AugustaIn July 2023, I moved to the area, and as I settled in, my biggest challenge was finding a boarding facility with which I was comfortable for my two (spoiled rotten, over-protected, coddled) Chihuahuas, both of whom are treated as my children! Dont ever say, "They are just dogs." I have only dealt with one other facility, which was in West Virginia, where I previously lived, and which was terrific, so a new facility in Augusta had to measure up to a very high standard. When I first visited Graced Kennel, I knew I had found what I had been looking for. I picked them up today from a weekend, 3 day stay, and I was thrilled at their attitudes when I brought them home. No signs of fear or anxiety! They were happy, energetic, and, of course, glad to see me. Jimmy has been so patient with me as I worked through my anxiety of leaving my babies with total strangers! I'm impressed with their facility that meets the needs of all dogs (the setting is incredible), their mission of hiring people who are recovering as their staff, their expertise with regards to dogs, pets, and their parents, and my feelings of relief that once again I've found a safe and loving place where I feel entirely comfortable leaving these two very important beings in my life. If you need day care or boarding services, Graced Kennel is where you need to go. I know it's the only place in August's where I will leave my kids!

The nachos absolutely stole the show, they are so delicious and the portion is great for $14, the sauce is very good and not too bleu cheese forward, which pairs well with the chicken, but isn't overwhelming! The only thing I'd change is to have more buffalo sauce, but you can get some one the side. The quality of the tuna in the sashimi was great! The size of the slices for the sashimi was very generous and appreciated, and I loved the presentation!! I'd like maybe a little more rice in the tuna roll though! Additionally, I assume an extra was made on accident because they brought us a Solé Roll to try on the house, which was super yummy!! The crab salad was great and it wasn't very greasy even though it was fried. My mom even liked it, and she is generally not a sushi fan! Lastly, the shrimp tempura was also amazing-- the texture was perfect, the dyno sauce was great, and the honey sirachi was to die for!! So, if you are ever looking for a decent place to grab something good to eat with great waitstaff, this is the place to be!
