This store has a good selection of supplies and food for your pet. There is peculiar lighting that makes it appear dark and oppressive. There is a strong smell of ammonia that needs to be addressed. The staff is very helpful.

My dog was discriminated against and refused grooming service because of his medical condition.
I was lied to by the pet grooming staff and Joseph the store manager stating that if a dog has had a seizure within 24 hours that they are not allowed to groom them. I asked to see this policy and was told verbatim from Joseph “I’m not about to go and print the store policy for you.” For context my dog has epilepsy, and he had a seizure at 5 AM. He had been medicated and recovered like he normally does. He doesn’t have multiple seizures a day. His grooming appointment was at 1:30 PM.
I asked who his boss was, and he told me the district manager. He told me to go through customer service to get in contact with his boss. He wouldn’t give it to me. I called the customer service number, and the representative told me that the information he gave me was inaccurate and asked to speak with him.
When the customer service representative spoke with him, she told him that there is no such policy and that he should grooming is based off of my comfortability. Joseph went to the back and came back and said that they are uncomfortable with grooming my dog. They refused him service based on their comfortability, regardless of what corporate said.
This experience has been terrible. I recommend going to PetSense, PetCo or some other grooming location in the Augusta area. The staff members that I dealt with seem to have low integrity and the store manager lied to my face.

If I could give them a zero I would!! I have been a customer with PetSmart for a while, since my dog was a puppy. These last two visit has upset me. I will no longer be doing business with this store or any petsmart. This is my second grooming that nobody has contacted me about being rescheduled or canceled. I am sitting outside the store and the location doesn't have it employees that handle the grooming in yet. I have complained last time and I got a free grooming for my dog but they messed up his coat and the deshredded doesn't work bc my dog has been losing more hair than ever before and he was NEVER like that. This is unacceptable and I will be looking at other grooming locations for my dog.

13 yr old Cooper the 60 lb. Mutt goes in happy, comes back happy, and comes back clean, we'll groomed. When I noticed fur between his paw pads was a bit longer than I like it to keep him from slipping on hardwood floors, they were quick to take care of it, no fuss. 1 star reserved for the day he is absolutely 100% dry when we pick him up.

- We chose this groomer for competitive pricing and range of services.
- Dog has skin allergies; uses specific medicated shampoo.
- Last two appointments: staff used entire bottle of medicated shampoo despite instructions.
- Each visit costs approximately $81 ($22 for new shampoo bottle, $59 for Bath & Brush package with nail grind).
- Last appointment: staff failed to trim paw pad hair.
- Due to repeated issues, will seek grooming services elsewhere.

It's the only pet store in the Augusta area where I can find Bil-jac dog food.

My 19 year old daughter went to this pet smart location yesterday to buy a hamster. She was told by one of the sale associates that she could NOT buy the hamster unless she bought all of the accessories from the store. When she told the associate that she has a glass cage and everything at home, the woman then told her she would need to see a picture of it. I have NEVER in my life been told this at a pet store. This caused her to feel pressured and spend unnecessary money on items we already have at home. I will be calling to speak with a manager today.

We love all of the groomers there. They do a fantastic job for our babies. Keep up the great work. 🤗

Unfriendly associates are all too common at this location. Not enough diversity either. Staff should represent demographics of the community they serve. Grooming needs to come into 2024. Learn and practice simple courtesy with all patrons, not just your "favorites". Do better!

Very frustrated. My dog broke some nails completely off around 530pm. When we couldn't stop the bleeding we jumped in the car and drove to the store. I understand Hurricane Helene hours were until 6pm. We pulled up the the store at exactly 6pm to purchase something to stop the bleeding and we were turned away. After explaining to the associate, she had no sympathy for the situation and turned us away saying most stores closed at 6pm. I was not looking to browse and simply needed one item.
I'm thankful at least Target had a first aid kit with bleed stop.

Got a new dog that was matted. They were able to clean her up nicely, at a reasonable price. They did irritate her eyes though.
