I visited the store on March 16,2024. This is my first time coming to this location as I usually go to the Mall in Atlanta area or Columbia SC area. Upon entering I had my 2 year daughter “who was walking” , my wallet and my cell phone. When I entered the store I wasn’t greeted but instead was watched the entire time. I walked to the back where the clearance rack was located. My plan was to buy a bunch of things but that didn’t go as planned. I took a pair of pants off a hanger to see how big or little they looked because I never try on clothes before buying. The young lady from the front immediately runs to the back where me and my daughter is and starts searching the racks as if I stole something. She then begins to look me up and down. Then she proceeds to ask me if i needed to try the pants on. I told her no because I was just looking. She walks away. So I continue to shop. While walking around the store I felt very uncomfortable because every time I looked up she was staring at me from every location of the store. At this point I was aggravating and decided to just checkout because she was being very extra for no reasons. I called my husband so he can come to the store where I was. When he got to the store he confronted the girl about making me feel uncomfortable at the store while trying to shop. She told him she heard me rip the jeans so that’s why she ran to the back of the store. I asked her if it was against the law to take pants off of a hanger. I felt racially profiled and highly discriminated and don’t appreciate this whatsoever. This was the store located in the Augusta GA mall. I honestly will NEVER return to this store as I will take my business elsewhere. I worked in retail as a child/teenager so I know what to look for as far as a shoplifter. As I stated before I came in the store with NO BAGS .. only my wallet , cell phone and my child whom was walking and not in a stroller. So I don’t understand how she would have actually thought I could have stolen something. Instead of her accusing me she should have used her customer service skills and assist ALL customers in the store. I’ll be sure to tell all my family and friends about this experience and make sure no one visit my on my end. the district manager Connie reached out to me after filing a complaint through the website and offered to call me back after she investigates the store as to what happened that day. She never reached back out to me and this is a big disappointment because I feel as if I was played with. I’ll be sure to give all of this information to my lawyer so we can proceed with this lawsuit. The young lady’s name was AN’TASIA, she has very bad customer service when it comes to black people. She automatically assumes we’re going to steal! PLEASE GET RID OF HER!!!

Terrible customer service. Walked in today at 5:30. Really wanted to buy 2 outfits but asked to try it on. There were 3 young people working just sitting behind the registers doing nothing. When we asked to try the clothes on, they told us the dressing rooms were closed. All they simply had to do was turn on the light. They lost sales that day. I don't understand how your store is open, but your dressing rooms are closed. It just seems lazy to me. The girl at the register said the dressing rooms would be open tomorrow. Well oh well sweetie I will be at work. They did not greet us or offer to help us either. They all should be fired. One girl just sat on her phone the whole time.
