This is the worst pharmacy in Columbia County. They do not answer their phones, I have been waiting on hold for more than 20 mins and every so often the phone was picked up and placed back on hold with nothing said. Not to mention the hold time was so long we decided to drive there, while I remained on hold. Upon arriving to this location the drive thru was empty and it was one customer standing at the counter inside with three pharmacist inside. … I continued to wait on hold to see if we would get serviced via telephone or drive thru first.
Lo and behold, the drive thru was answered, while we remained on hold. The mounting frustration when someone came to the window, questioned the tech about why was no one answering the phones. When the pharmacy was apparently empty. The response we received was the old “it’s the day after the Holiday and we have been busy”. If I could give this place a negative star I would. If you don’t have to use this Walgreens. I suggest you go elsewhere to save your self the aggravation.

If you are deciding to come to this location please just keep going. The staff is rude and they don’t follow the rules set by the companies they aligned with.

Pharmacy will not start working on your prescription until you show up in person and ask for it. They will not let you know when it's done either. They make it next to impossible to transfer prescriptions to another Pharmacy. All around terrible experience dealing with them at any point. They will waste as much of your time as possible and act like you asking about possible side effects or further explanations about their instructions is the equivalent to you kicking their children and stomping on their puppies. You are much better off going anywhere else.

I just wanted to say on Columbia and belair road at the Walgreens. Devin was the employee working in the pharmacy, and he was excellent even though it was completely packed. The drive-thru, and pharmacy I had very long lines, and he stayed very composed and helped everybody, multitasking, doing everything he could to help the customers and move them as quickly as possible. The whole time he stayed calm, he is an excellent member there and very kind to customers. He deserves lots and lots of praises for what he did today and how he handled the situation with everything going on. Props to you, Devin

Pharmacy staff is rude. They need to learn how to deal with customers. I simply want to pick up my prescription, pay and leave. You need to drop the sense of entitlement and attitude and learn manners.

Pharmacy is usually pretty busy when you try to call, especially early in the morning but when you go in they are always working hard and are very polite. For the rest of the store, the cashier is very friendly and sweet. The manager, Nate, always has a smile and is very on top of things.

Terrible pharmacy, expect your prescription to be missing something or fully not filled, let alone put in their system.

I had an extremely negative experience with this pharmacy location. We are visiting from another state. We were informed by our regular pharmacy (not Walgreens) that they couldn’t ship my daughter’s meds out of state. Our pharmacy told us that we’d need to ask Walgreens to call them to arrange for a prescription transfer. I called Walgreens and gave the pharmacy tech all of the information and he said that yes, Walgreens can do that. Two days later, I called Walgreens to find out when I could pick up the meds. An extremely sassy person in the pharmacy told me that the receiving pharmacy was mistaken and that our pharmacy needs to call Walgreens, not the other way around. Well, why did the other pharmacy tech promise me two days prior that it could be done? And if he later found out that it couldn’t be done from his supervisor, why weren’t we contacted? Now our pharmacy is closed until after the New Year and my daughter can’t obtain her medication. I’m disgusted. Walgreens is inefficient and incompetent. If you use this location, you’d be well-advised to switch to another one. It’s clear that the employees are poorly trained - and rude, as well. If I could give zero stars, I would. Learn how to run your pharmacy, Walgreens!

Horrible pharmacy! Good luck getting anyone to answer the phone… Be prepared to sit an hour waiting in line for your prescription.
