“The burger is decent for the park. Two things to note though, the bun is buttered on the outside so grab some napkins, and it comes with fries and onion rings that aren't half bad.”

“Boy, have I needed The Butcher at Whitlock in my life for 20 years! As a foodie and with such limited access to quality fresh meat and gourmet provisions in the West Cobb area, I am beyond obsessed with this amazing establishment! The meat is the best you can buy, the Chefs who own it create delectable dishes of all types for purchase, the provisions and hard to find specialties line the store, tempting me with every turn and the best handpicked wine selection ensures I continuously mature my wine pallet. The team of foodies get excited with you as they endlessly help you make each trip to see them amazing! If you have not visited The Butcher on Whitlock you are not living right???”

“I stopped by this market because I happened to be in the area going to an African/Caribbean market. Mercado Real De la Villa was clean and very organized. It has a restaurant attached that had the smell of pozole verde coming from the kitchen. I didn’t visit for the purposes of going to the restaurant so I didn’t follow my nose but it brought back memories of Christmas. The Mercados Carniceria had a large selection of traditional meats and a few oddities that I know some padres would get to feel connected to el rancho that they grew up on. The staff was friendly and helpful and even offered some opinions on what to bring home for the holidays. The atmosphere seemed welcoming as there was a visible presence of members of the LGBTQIA community enjoying last minute holiday pickings. I was surprised to see a generous selection of packaged goods that were specific to the Central American diaspora mainly sweets and cookies from El Salvador and Costa Rica. The location is off of a main road which may or may not be convenient depending on your approach but worth a stop if you are looking for friendly service, accepting atmosphere and possible a little snack for the road.”

“Being from NY, you can easily find a butcher shop. I am happy there's a good one in my neighborhood! Findley's has just about everything! I purchased sausages, bacon, homemade garlic butter, what? Yes, very good! Check out them!”

“They are very cordial and carry most of the groceries and fresh organic meats I need. Great quality, and the butcher too, who has been with them is most accommodating and helpful when you need a special cut of a specific kind.”

“By far one of the best halal meat stores I've been to. I've shopped in Texas as well and again, they have many other stores beat. Their meat is already cut & they have a wide range of cuts that I haven't seen at any other halal store. Agueda is the sweetest lady and they make sure you get everything you need with great service and a warm smile. The store is very clean and no smells of old meat lol! This is my store now”

“The brother is very straightforward and professional. He gives you all the pros and cons on his meat products so you can make an informed decision. His prices are fair and fresh meat. I've been buying from him for years and always go back to him and buy confidently knowing I won't be deceived. I've recommended him to friends and families.”
