Met the owners prior to needing service. Really down to Earth and helpful. Technician Chris was awesome. Very detailed on everything he did. Gave great suggestions for future upgrades and mantinece. Highly recommend them..

Had an appointment about a month ago. Came out and charged me the full 100 without even inspecting the unit, saying they would reschedule to complete the inspection as they did not bring proper equipment. It’s been a month, along with 3 callbacks to get them to reschedule the appointment and they still will not set another appointment, every time I call it is “let me get back to you” and surprise no return call. Horrifying experience

When I first called this company, I called because of an issue that I was having and have been having for a while.
I have 2 units.
The upstairs unit has poor circulation. It only gets cool in the master bed room. The downstairs unit circulates fine.
After really explaining my issue, and the fact that I recently purchased a new upstairs unit, where someone else also suggested, possible duct work previously, I wanted to know if this company could do anything else that needed to be done, including duct work. The service rep said yes but in order to really diagnose the issue, I would need to do a cleaning on both units. But if I don’t do a cleaning, there will be a service charge for coming out.
To me, both units was not necessary but that was the suggestion. So I agreed. Then I explained when it would be a good time for me but the rep explained to me, what was best for them, mainly because it gets hot in the afternoon. And they don’t work weekends. Which I understand all that. Unfortunately I work during the day so, I asked to get off early to meet at 2 pm.
The day of the service, the customer service rep called to make sure I remembered my schedule “Spring Cleaning”. I reminded her that, the cleaning is to help diagnosis my issue and if the tech was aware of that? She said, “Oh yes, I see in the notes, the upstair unit is an issue”.
So, the Tech was prompt and courteous. I feel that the tech did what he was trained to do, however, I don’t feel that the tech was experienced enough to evaluate my issue. His first suggestion that was given, was a duct cleaning. And with that suggestion, he had ready, a company for me to call, because they don’t do duct cleaning. In my mind, I thought they did that work as well. Another suggestion was to add another return. He had other suggestions as well, but that’s after me pressuring him about it. All his suggestions didn’t feel authentic at all. I felt like he just threw something’s out there because that was the expectation.
At the end of the day, a service was performed and they will get paid. But I honestly feel that the goal was just to get my money and not really, to help me figure out what my issue is. I don’t think they cared to keep me as a long term customer. The initial call, I immediately felt like it was an “Up Sale” and that’s really my fault. I should have kept calling around…

The technician, Joshua, was excellent! He was timely, courteous, and professional! He informed me everything he did and the condition of my furnace and A/C unit. I highly recommend Christian Brothers Heating & Air Conditioning.
