I waited for 45 minutes at their main competitor for paint, rang the bell for assistance countless times, and no one ever came. My family and I were there for so long that a line started forming behind us, and then dissipated as people got fed up with waiting. We walked the store to try to find someone to help and was finally informed by a cashier that no one in the store was trained in paint and to come back later. Infuriating.
So we drove over to Home Depot which was about 4 minutes away, was promptly helped by 2 wonderful women stationed in the paint area, and happily walked out with our 3 gallons. They even paint matched one of the Sherwin Williams swatches I brought over from the competitor store! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Everything was perfect.

Poor Delivery Service – Caused Unnecessary Delays and Costs
I placed an order last week with the expectation that it would arrive by Monday, as stated. However, I later checked my email and saw a message saying the delivery was attempted but no one was home — even though the order did not require a signature.
I had hired workers specifically to begin a job using those materials today, and now I have to pay them again to come back, all because the delivery wasn’t properly completed. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional.
Home Depot really needs to improve their delivery service and coordination. It’s not fair for customers to pay the price — literally — for mistakes that could have easily been avoided. Save yourself the headache.

This is one of the absolute worst home depots you can come to people do not want to work and the managers are incapable of helping you. Better off at Lowe's

This is about delivery. We bought a new stainless steel dishwasher recently. The delivery guy took the old one out of the house and said that there were no dents on the new one. We looked and didn’t see anything stand out. He brings it upstairs, takes the tape off the edges and sure enough there are two dings in the front. Well, we’re not going to put back the old one that’s now out in the road, are we? We’re very annoyed but figured they’re light dings so maybe no one will notice them and they gave us 20% off.
We just bought a stainless steel GE Profile convection slide in oven. When they arrived we said we must look this over head to toe because we aren’t taking out the old one to realize there’s damage on this one. Looks fine. The oven is fully installed and looks great. We asked them to push it back a little further, then they leave. My wife looks and there’s a a big dent in the door. Wt? He must have done it when they pushed it back. We call them back as we have his cell and he says he closed our delivery out already, call the store. We call and they set up a replacement delivery. The day comes and I tell the guy, this isn’t coming in the house until it’s totally unpacked and looked over. He says “we don’t do that it’s already been looked at since it’s a replacement.” Oven gets installed, my wife is wiping off finger prints w stainless steel cleaner … there’s a ding in the door. Mind you, through all these deliveries they’re walking up our stairs with shoes on with no covers on our new carpet. One delivery guy scraped the wood floors. Getting an appliance delivered and installed is not fun to begin with. We are very disappointed with Home Depot. We will never buy any kind of major appliance from them ever again. We are looking for a washer and dryer and a new cabinet depth refrigerator as we just moved into our home and we won’t be going there!

Sub-par employees and staff. They move very slow and don’t mind letting lines form. Seem under staffed compared to the Cumberland location.

Since purchasing my door, I have had issues with the Austell Home Depot location. I had questions about my order because I remembered Home Depot had a sale with 15% off. My receipt wasn’t itemized and didn’t give much detail. It also showed $0.00 for discount. Dozens of calls to the store and you can’t reach this location unless you call the 800 number to get them to call the store. The delay in my door pushed my project date back. That’s okay but I could t reschedule a date because I could get Home Depot on the phone. There was also an issue with the price because the salesperson never gave an itemized receipt. The 800 number provided that to me. got home and tried to call the store, no one answered the phone. Little did I know, it would be like this for the next 30 days. Multiple calls to the 800 number just to reach this location. One call took 26 minutes just to get an answer. Fast forward to picking up my door. My door was picked up and installed the same day. My installer stated they put the wrong size trim in the box. The trim was for a 32in door and not a 36in door. I called the store and was put on hold for 10 minutes and then they disconnected my call. I called back a dozen times just to get an automated system that kept hanging up. I then called the 800 number where I waited several minutes for someone to answer. The 800 service rep tried multiple times as well to reach the store. Finally got someone on the line 33 minutes of trying to reach them. Luckily the installer had extra trim and was able to complete the installation. The rep told me she would call me back before 5pm after looking into it. Of course she didn’t call back and I had to go through the hassle of calling again trying to get someone on the line. I had to explain the story again because no one communicated my issue or looked into it as they stated they would. I got a call this morning from Aundrea with Home Depot about a refund. Aundrea stated they would give me a refund of $53 for the trim but I would need to come into the store because the system would not allow them to process it back to my credit card. I get to the store and immediately I knew the cashier wasn’t sure what she was doing. She gave me a refund of $53. I asked for a copy the receipt. That took some time for her to figure out. Finally she gives me a copy but the receipt shows I was refunded $1270.23. I had an issue with that because I didn’t receive that amount and if I needed to return my door for whatever reason or use my warranty, the receipt is showing I returned it. I asked for a receipt with the correct information. The clerk/cashier stated this is all they could give me. I then asked for a manager to come and provide something for me. A guy comes and writes his name with a marker on my receipt, Neptali . I guess Neptali thinks this would solve my issue. Writing his name doesn’t prove anything. I don’t understand why I could not have a receipt showing I received $53 and not $1270.23. The inconvenience and incompetence of the staff at this store is the frustrating. I’m sure the drawer is showing $1270.23 over tonight. Now I have to call the 800 number tomorrow to see if it’s showing the door was refunded.

I've spent to much money with home depot to be treated the way I have been today. What company take money for product and delivery only to cancel the delivery and not inform? Then when I call I get bounced from store to store. I put my order at cascade road l, not understanding why I have to take to Cumberland, or lithia springs. Everybody at each one of these stores from MOD down needs a class in customer service. So damn unprofessional.

Went into store guy Clifford at pro desk seemed to have a attitude when I came to the desk. I checked out with him with a business sell. I also had only 1 drink to get he said he couldn't help and needed to stand back in line behind alot of customers I go to.many other home depots in the atlanta area and never have this bad an experience with the pro desk customer service usually it's the opposite and it's great customer experience above and beyond definetly felt like it was a inconvenience to try and do business there definitely will avoid this home depot in the future hopefully they can be more conscience of being more customer service friendly.

Zero Customer Service. I asked for help getting a product that was out (it was on top shelf). The employee I asked told me to go ask someone else. I did notify their "customer service". Needless to say I will NOT come back here.
