I brought my dog to PetSmart Grooming at 4155 Austell Rd for a bath and Furminator treatment. When I picked her up, she still had visible tufts of blown coat sticking out from the base of her tail and hind legs. I mentioned it to a staff member, who agreed it wasn’t finished properly and said they’d take care of it.
After speaking with the original groomer — who looked visibly annoyed — they had me wait while checking in other customers who arrived after me. Eventually, they took my dog back and brushed her for another five minutes. Then, the second groomer claimed my dog was “sensitive” on her back and even said she growled, which I found to be an excuse rather than a valid reason for the incomplete grooming.
I left completely dissatisfied. I will not be returning and will be taking my dog to a different groomer. Sharing this so others know what to expect.

My fur baby Honey goes here to get her grooming done and Sydney is our go to and she is great! She does a great job with honey and she is so patient & loving with our big spoiled girl! Highly recommend booking with Sydney! Great customer service all around!!

Was a $100 for a bath that was 35$ said I paid for shedding bath got in car and hair shedding everywhere went to a different location and was charged 65$ and he is clean as a whistle

I bought Top Fin Fascinate Column 10 gallon Starter Kit about 3 weeks about when they had a sale but my son wanted the regular 10 gallon size. Before bringing the fish tank back to exchange I called to make sure we could get an even exchange for Top Fin Essentials Aquarium Starter Kit even though at the current the time the 10 gallon Column Starter Kit is priced much higher than the regular rectangle 10 gallons. I did not get the name but surely was taking to the manager. At least twice I asked if they would be at even exchange and she said yes. When I got to the store, I explained to the cashier, she proceeded to processes the refund for the one I brought back then ask me to pay the difference for the price I paid for what I brought back and the one I wanted then due to current price. She called the manager and whatever they were talking on the phone she said the manager wanted to me to pay the difference. They had many customers lined up but only one cashier at the time so I decided to pay for the fish tank to not making a scene since my boy wanted for his birthday is up soon so I did not want to drag it out much longer. Just wanted to share so you know this store does not honor the price adjustment and is not trust worthy.

Their grooming department is the worst, they are so unprofessional and liars their customer service skills are the worst. They said my dog had a problem standing and never said anything to me, but put it on her record and what’s so crazy is my dog walked out of there so why would she have a problem standing when she walked in there and walked out? Make sure when you take your dog to the groomers that you kind of hang out and watch them because they will lie on your dog and do a terrible job on their grooming.

Melany and Sueheily or sue haily took my sisters dog and mine today. Absolutely disappointed the contract THE OWNER is supposed to sign consenting ghat THEYRE DOG is okay to be groomed was accidentally given to my sister for my dog when i made this aware to them the lady Sue said”Its okay it doesn’t matter” which makes me scared bc had my Dog been hurt what would have happened? Next it was our dogs first hair cuts so i understand both of our dogs suffer from anxiety however During check in I was told they could not our dogs hair to our liking because They were new to the grooming experience ” disappointed we said okay anyway but they did mention that they would try and if they didn’t allow themselves to be cut it would not be cut. We left at 1 naybe around 2:53 i got a message “Mila’s appointment has been canceled by Sue” confused i was about to go ask why since i was already coming back into the parking lot from grabbing breakfast Then i get a message that mila is ready excited we walk inside onky to find out NOTHING was done to mila (She ended up peeing on her groomer biting and gator rolling in the tub) which am not even mad about that An mad because my dog(Lady) was being brought out from the back while i was there for mila I witnessed melany grabbing my dog from her chin Hair while she tugged to get away And she didn’t let goi was kind of already irritated so i just ignored it and went back to mila Mind you am still watching lady when all of a sudden the groomer holding lady slicker brushes lady and then lady locks eyes with me she starts screaming for me???♀️ and gets excited i understand But i ask her from where i am to sit and she does she relaxes and then sue goes”Okay no we can not cut lady’s hair either” annoyed even more now i say “Why?!”apparently Because my dogs ears were In her normal relaxed position that was “Stress” i try to explain But am shut Out by sue saying that she cant cut it because my dog is stressed not only did they not even try for 5 minutes they tried for like 10 seconds and instantly decided it was a no Never never in my life have i met such Careless groomers. Not to mention there was a White female worker who was YELLING at the yorkie she had in hand to calm down Instead of comforting him. Personally i wanted to yell right back at her because clearly the sweet boy was already stressed he did not need the constant yanking or yelling ??♀️ my god i was just really speechless at how unprofessional these people were.
Long story short I WILL NOT be returning i ended up not paying and my sister had to pay For a “Nail grind” management was really nice about it and gave her a 50% discount and she only paid $9.50
Completely unprofessional and definitely need to retrain the staff.

The manager Kyle was dismissive and rude. The staff do not know how to use the computer system nor register. Slow, this was the only location that I shopped at due to it being the closest location with the brand of dog food that my dog’s eat.

Second negative experience with the grooming department and will not stick around for a third. Employees do not listen or communicate effectively with pet parents. There is so much
confusion and misunderstandings with incorrect price quoting and services. You ask for one thing and your dog comes home looking like something else. You ask and are charged extra for nail grinding but they don't grind they just clip. Ursula is the only shining star and a talented professional at that Austell location. She should be recognized accordingly. I took my fur baby to Scent Hound and was treated with professionalism. I felt valued. They truly listened and not only did they do an amazing job but it exceeded all of my expectations. My baby was not itching for hours after his visit as he did with PetSmart. PetSmart we are broken up and there is no chance for reconciliation!

The vet in the store recommended a dog food that changed my life. But pet smart kids need more training they dont have a clue about products at all!
