About American Legion Post 66
American Legion Post 66 is a welcoming and lively community hub in Avondale. Offering a range of activities and amenities, the post caters to Legion members, Auxiliary, and Sons of Legion. Visitors can enjoy $10 full dinners on Tuesdays and Fridays, followed by live music or DJ dances on select nights. Bingo is a popular weekly event, and the post is also used for Avondale police traffic court sessions. Guests are welcome, with each member able to bring up to three visitors per visit. The friendly atmosphere and variety of offerings make American Legion Post 66 a popular local destination.

This Post is awesome, Lily of the Valley Court #7 of Amaranth had our holiday social there in 2024 and most recently had our Grand Court of Amaranth Annual Tea March 2026. The staff is wonderful and Very helpful. Hopefully we will have more events there. A big kudos to Mr. Johnathan and Mr. Jonnie..Excellent staff.
