I waited until to see if all my packages and letters reached their destinations from inside Georgia to Indiana and to California. Sent 9 packages/letters and all of them arrived safely.
When looking at post offices in the Atlanta area, I was shocked at how low the ratings were for other locations. Friends recommended I make the trip out to Avondale and I even took the Marta before walking.
So glad I did. Service was friendly, courteous, and efficient. I apologized to both the lady who helped me and the other clients as I had so many things to send. They were all kind and understanding.

I miss the old crew that retired in this location! today I went to send a few packages to Puerto Rico, and the lady that was working there was not only rude but not knowledgeable of her job,and could not find the address. I have never had a problem before, I’ve been sending packages to my family, using the one and only address they have. Never encountered any problems with the old staff that retired. This lady, has zero customer service, and no desire on going maybe the extra mile to figure out an address outside the mainland US,(although PR is a colony of the U.S., which I doubt she knew)In the end, I got my packages back, because she kept asking me if I wanted to proceed, which I have never had anyone asking me that. I don’t know if she thought I did not speak English. I might have an accent, but I speak four languages. I’m pretty sure more than she does. I took my packages to the post office in Scottdale and had cero problems there. The gentleman was cordial, professional and knowledgeable there, and sent the packages without a problem.

If your hours are listed to close at 5pm, your doors should lock at 5pm not 440p. Otherwise change your time listings. Very inconvenient and misleading.

Both clerks became defensive and belligerent when I asked a question about why they were having problems scanning my packages. They then continued to be aggressive when I asked them to just give me my receipt. Never have experienced this level of petty behavior at a post office. They are nice to some customers and selectively rude to others.

The light skinned young lady with braids that worked as clerk the day before Memorial Day I would like to never have to go through that young lady ever again please!!!! she needs to be fired !

We mailed 3 envelopes containing gift cards on the same day and all of them have gone missing. My only conclusion is that someone at this post office stole them.

I really wish this office was sitting in my position waiting on their package. I don’t understand why it’s so complicated to get an address right and so easy to get an address wrong or maybe they’re just too lazy to deliver to the correct address and would rather just reschedule my delivery for someone else to do it.. TURN ON THE GPS AND JUST DRIVE DANG! I had to work today too, I didn’t want to but I did and got it done! This isn’t a degree required job, but they make it seem as if dropping off packages is challenging. It’s ALWAYS something with this office.

Everytime I come busy or not the staff are always so friendly and nice. I can easily go to a closer office but this is always my go to
