The Family Dollar in Bainbridge, GA continues to give me the WORSE experiences of my life concerning shopping experiences particularly the year 2023. Each time I have gone there, the employees are extremely unprofessional and do not greet due to unprofessional conversations with the first one encountered to include consistent profanity. When I asked them to please reframe, I received an aggressive verbal attack from one male in particular and the female acted as if she could care less. On my recent experience, I was sold a $50 heater from the shelf so damaged to PIECES that just from the sound in the box alone, it was hard to not know it was broken especially by staff. I have had to wait almost an ENTIRE week to get a refund simply because the manager obviously does not trust her own staff to do so because out of her mouth, I quote, "I don't let them give refunds because something happened up here." I have absolutely nothing to do with that and should not be inconvenienced simply because of a lack of trust in your staff which reflects your judgment and I told her I am also lawfully disabled so I would have to send my son in to do the refund who originally purchased the heater for me with my card. The day he came back, she said she would be there until 4:30pm. He did not have my card used in the transaction so he was going to have come home to get my card only FIVE MINUTES away for the refund and we received NO COURTESY for her to wait just a moment and her shift was not even over yet. The next day we tried, we were told she left early at 2:30pm after saying she would be there til 4:30pm and since then, I have been trying to RUN HER DOWN on her schedule NOT the customer's schedule which matters as well to simply get a refund. THEN on top of all of this, I was treated REALLY RUDELY by the same manager on the phone by not allowing me to speak and constantly interrupting my conversation with NO professional people skills because she claimed I was yelling which I was not. I was simply trying to explain in detail and asked her to only hear me out BEFORE interrupting which was rude and thus the very reason she said I yelled. I had to elevate my voice because of her CONSISTENT INTERRUPTIONS. I asked her MULTIPLE TIMES NICELY to just let me speak if she wouldn't mind, but I received only rudeness and hung up on twice with the last time being me telling her I was going to call corporate office. She then said rudely, "Call corporate office!" THIS is customer ABUSE at it's best and needless to say, I will NEVER in my entire life shop at the Family Dollar in Bainbridge GA EVER AGAIN as long as this particular manager resides! Buyers beware of this particular manager and crew! [Pics attached of very damaged product sold](The recent experience with the manager happened the week of December 11, 2023 up til today, December 18, 2023)UPDATE ADDITION 12/18/23:When my son just went to return the heater around 1:45pm, I was informed by my son that this same manager very unprofessionally told him, "Tell your Mama that yelling ain't gone get nowhere with me. Y'all keep yelling at me, I'm just gone keep on staying home and making y'all wait" (speaking of refunds customers may need). Now please tell me what kind of manager is this? Would you all want to deal with her, really? Instead of de-escalating the situation, she is immaturely and unprofessionally continuing to try to escalate it more by involving MY own son and sending childish messages through him. THIS is very sad and EXTREMELY disrespectful. I am truly disappointed and shaking my head at this type of administrative/managerial conduct who is supposed to be a professional.

I had the BEST experience at this Family Dollar. The employees were all SUPER unhelpful, the store is VERY unorganized. I only tripped and almost DIED 5 times. Overall, an amazingly unpleasant experience. I was really impressed with the cashiers sneer, for me that was the perfect ending to an aggravating shopping experience. If i could give them 5 stars for depression I would!Oh and waiting for a cashier to notice there is a customer in the checkout area is a real treat. Thank you for letting me stand awkwardly for 7 minutes. The employees at this Family Dollar should be proud of the work they are doing.

The employees are always very friendly and obviously hard working! The store is always neat and well stocked! Of all the ‘dollar’ stores in our area, this one is by far the best!

I like Family Dollar when I just need to pick up a few items. They are not as congested as Dollar General, which is a big plus for me. The staff is friendly and the store is fairly clean. They need a trash container or two outside to help reduce the trash there.. Some people would still litter regardless, but some of us would appreciate it.

Prices are great and employees are nice. The best thing they sell here is the packets of Hawaiian punch you can get for $1 a piece and will last you about a month for $15 worth. The 2 liter sodas are only $1! They also sell clothes and home goods. It's similar to a mini Walmart.
