Best customer care ever

The pharmacist Tom at this location is one of the most compassionate and best pharmacists that I've ever had. He takes care of my family reminds us when my daughters need things and goes so far as to even check on me when I was in the hospital, asking my wife about my status. I wish, that as a medical practitioner myself, that we had a thousand more Toms to spread around the medical industry. We would have a much safer and customer oriented industry.

Fran, the blonde female pharmacist is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. She is BEYOND rude and dismissive every single time we go. I called my son’s prescription in THREE hours before my husband went to pick it up. When he got there she was soooo rude and dismissive of him and told him the medicine wasn’t ready even though I had received a text saying it indeed was. CVS, you need better pharmacists with better customer service. Your customers are literally a bunch of sick people. Do better.

Never have a problem unless they’re understaffed which… let’s be real…. corporations will gladly cut corners for a larger profit …the people there are nice people working with a broken system for hours day after day. I appreciate the service :)

Our doctors office called in a rx for my husband. He was very sick with the flu. I waited at the pharmacy for 15 minutes before I was even acknowledged. Finally the pharmacist let me know they didn’t receive any info from the doctor and to come back and it should be ready. I came back 4 hrs later only for the rx to still not be fulfilled. To add more frustration to the mix, the pharmacist places the blame on me and said it’s bc I didn’t give him my insurance. He was extremely rude, unprofessional, and honestly lacked the competency to complete his job. I have never received this level of subpar service ever.

We have used this pharmacy for years and the service has always been lacking. Today, was the straw that broke the camels back. I waited in line for over 30 minutes before speaking with the pharmacist. When I got to counter, I explained what I needed. He told me it would be at least an hour if not longer before it was ready. I voiced frustration as it doesn't normally take anywhere near that long, but had other shopping to do so it was okay. I asked him to double check that there weren't any issues with the prescriptions prior to me walking away from the counter. He questioned the provider that had written the prescription but not the prescription itself. I verified that was the correct provider and said about an hour, right? His response was so rude. He said it would be at least an hour, if bit longer because he can't get people away from his counter and out of line. I was appalled. So, I asked him if he was always this rude to customers and walked down the aisle in front of the pharmacy. Clearly, he knew he was out of line because he came out of the pharmacy area and came up to me. He was trying to downplay his response to me by saying he was short staffed and had all these other tasks he was responsible for. I let him ramble and then told him that as a customer, none of what he just said is my issue. I get that he is busy and that he is short staffed and over worked. I even get that I might have to wait longer than expected. However, NOTHING gives him the right to speak to me the way he did. So, fast forward and hour and half. I was done shopping and thought I would check to see if it was ready. I got to the counter and he told me that he hadn't even looked at my prescriptions yet. I was floored. He told me that he could probably pull it up and look. So, again I stand there and he comes to me with some crap about the provider and tells me that he is going to have to call the doctor. I just looked at him. I literally cleared it up AN HOUR prior when I asked if there were issues. He refused to do anything further about the prescription at this point. So, I told him I would happily take my stuff to the CVS in Monroe. And, shockingly, they were able to pull it up and fill it within an hour with ZERO issues or any additional phone calls. I will add that I had two prescriptions...one for Albuterol and one for prednisone....both for my child with asthma. These are not controlled substances and the neglect that he showed in performing his job is disgraceful. He simply didn't want to be bothered. Charles Green, you sir, are the worst kind of pharmacist and should be ashamed of the way that you conducted yourself today.

My DR office called in a prescription for me and after 4 hours of not hearing back from the pharmacy I attempted to call multiple times but was directed to a message stating the pharmacy was 'closed for the day.' At 5pm I contacted Target to find out what the hold up was, knowing the pharmacy online hours listed 7pm closing. According the lady at Target's care service, she said they often get calls regarding the same issue, that the pharmacy shuts off phones/ directs calls to the closed message when they are "overwhelmed."I understand during these COVID times we are all feeling overwhelmed (I'm a teacher- so I get it) but closing the pharmacy and not notifying patients when their prescriptions are filled is ridiculous. If they are overwhelmed so much that they can't do their job, then patients should be notified so they can have DR call in prescriptions to another location.
