We lost one of our beloved dogs after 19.5 years. The Pet Abdel Memorial Center took care of the cremation and were very passionate and caring for our beloved family member(Wolfie). Highly recommended for when you need this service.

We lost our sweet Leo last Friday. He was just 2 1/2 years old, but had lymphoma. We are so thankful for the time we had with him and wish we could have had more years. Our hearts were so broken when we had to put him to rest. We took Leo to Pet Angel and they were so kind and understanding! They cremated him and shaved some of his fur for a keepsake. They placed him in the most beautiful tin, inside a gorgeous blue velvet bag. The fur was placed inside a sweet card. Every little detail was very carefully thought out, and we could tell they loved on him every step of the way. Thank you for giving us such a sweet way to remember our precious Leo.

Nothing really fills the hole in our hearts when we lose our best friend. I would give 100 starts if I could for Valerie and the staff at Pet Angel. Thank you for your patience and understanding with me during my difficult time and for taking great care of my Flynn. I'm amazed every time I look at his beautiful urn and the most perfect paw print keepsake. I can never say thank you enough for all you do.

We've taken our last 5 dogs to them over the years. They go above and beyond. The sweetest and caring for our pets. We've had all our dogs cremated and now sit on top of our mantel over our fireplace. I would recommend everyone to this place. The care they give our animals.

They have taken care of several of my family’s dogs in the past, but recently lost my very first personal dog. It’s been so hard but knowing the pristine care, attention, and love they give when handling him, I have felt much more at ease. Thank you to the Shugarts and all of your wonderful staff for making this difficult time hurt just a little less.

I traveled to Georgia from Kentucky to visit with my family and unfortunately about a couple hours after we arrived we lost our girl. I was devastated when she passed as I had been telling her it was ok and we aren’t leaving her, so my sister called Oak Rest Pet Care and they did an amazing job taking care of her cremation so we could take her home with us. I felt as if she was being handled by family. They were professional and caring right from the beginning. I will be going home tomorrow and taking my girl with me. I highly recommend this business to anyone who has a pet they love unconditionally. Thank you to all the staff from the bottom of my heart for handling her arrangements so quickly.

The absolute worst service I have received. The first time I used them it was great service. This to mine communication was nonexistent and I would never use them again. If I can just get my horses ashes I will consider myself blessed. They charged me 1809 dollars and can’t seem to keep me informed

This was my third dog that used Deceased Pet Care. The first dog was handled by the original owner, Mr. Shugart, in person including coat and tie. He was amazing. My second experience could not have been worse, it was a nightmare. This third experience was, in general, a very pleasant surprise, and more like the way Mr. Shugart had handled things (the first experience). The only negatives were the man who processed my dog initially was awful ($120 for after hours). He was cold, impatient, and looked like I was interrupting his golf game. He had me bring in my dog and put it in the viewing casket, then took me to another room and left me there. Later on, I realized my dog had been laying all that time in the casket, and I could have been able to view her and get some closure instead of sitting in an uncomfortable chair in his office waiting. smh. I did get to take her picture. There are a lot of add on fees for services that used to be free. Anyway, other than the cold hearted man and the millions of extra fees, it was so much better than my second dog!! The people I spoke to and who emailed me were all professional and compassionate, particularly a person named Susan, who I believe is a counselor, and a woman named Debbie. Today I picked up the cremains ($209) of my dog today (I did not want to pay the $30 to have them shipped to me) and her pawprint ($58) all of which was in a very nicely presented gift bag and velvet pouches and wrapped box for the pawprint. My mother and I walked through the beautiful memorial gardens they have built. They are stunning. I feel so much better about this experience. But, these people are NOT Mr. Shugart. He came into my house in a suit and tie, took my dog with him (no charge for home pick up), talked with me for a while and explained what he would be doing and that he would never leave my dog's side. Somehow, that helped a lot. He brought my dog's cremains back to my house in a suit and tie (no charge) and sat down and asked me questions about my dog. It was amazingly healing. He found a bullet in my dog, which stunned us both! We lived for three years on a farm while I got my degree, so I guess it happened there. Anyway, that man made a world of difference in my whole experience of losing my 14 year old dog I had raised from a puppy. He gave me a certificate thanking me for being a loyal and caring owner of my dog. I still have it, and that has been 17 years ago. So do I recommend them now? yes. I also say to do what you can yourself while your dog is living. All of us can buy that bake in an oven clay and make paw prints at home for less than $5 and save over $50 per pet. Get your own urn or container for the cremains. Save a clipping of hair, turn your pet's paw prints into art. Avoid pick up and delivery fees and you'll save hundreds. I suggest going over to the burial area, sit and look over the grassy area, and get a clear idea of what you want your pet's final resting place to be.

I visited this beautiful and tranquil setting on 7/20/22. A dear friend of mine brought me to visit the resting place of his two beloved kitties. The grounds are so well cared for and this is the perfect place to honor those who have crossed over the rainbow bridge. My friend and I walked the grounds and paid our respect to the others there. I live on the west coast but it is very reassuring to know a place like this exists! And, I know there are other locations. Thank you to all of those persons who work across all of the locations! Bless you!

Deceased Pet Care has always been so compassionate when I’ve experienced pet loss. I trust them completely to provide dignified aftercare for my fur babies.

I dealt with them this pass June with the death of my Tiki. I ordered a urn, a paw print impression and a nose print. I received everything but the nose print. When I asked for a refund they refused and assured me that the nose print I will receive was Tiki's. I think that's BS and the print I did receive I don't think was Tiki's and I'm somewhat questionable about the paw print.
