Lots of issues with our order. My meal was not great. Shrimp tasted funny..Tenders seemed over fried..sirloin was very tough. Asked for sweet potato with butter and cinnamon on the side..came with it on. I asked that the rice not be served just steak and shrimp...got rice...asked that my broccoli be double steamed...it was not. All that being said it was very unusual for this Longhorn. . We will definitely be back just a bad night.

We have previously dined at this location and had a wonderful experience. Tonight was the complete opposite, with the exception of the servers who were wonderful.We were told at 9pm that there was a 5 to 10 minute wait for our party of 2, with one party of 7 ahead of us that included 3 younger children. Less than half of the tables in the restaurant were occupied. A party of 6 had walked in about 15 minutes after we arrived. After 20 minutes, a server who was heading home for the night noticed that there were 15 people waiting for tables. She then went to let the manager know. The managing partner, Terry Holton, was oblivious to the situation as he had been standing at the bar talking to the bartender and a couple of customers for the 25 minutes we were sitting there so he failed to notice the hostess had to leave the front to go and bus tables. There were7 servers on the floor at the time, and a barback and food runners who were unoccupied at that moment. When he finally made it to the front he was unable to operate the seating list, and proceeded to sit the party of 6 that had just walked in the door at the largest table in the restaurant instead of ourselves or the party of 7 with young children who had been waiting for 30 minutes or more at this point.I have never seen such a complete lack of management in a restaurant either as an employee or a customer.We finally decided to sit ourselves in the bar section had put in our orders and received our drinks before our name was called. By this time it had been about 45 minutes since we arrived. We ordered a steak and a burger and two mixed drinks. The drinks were terrible. We got watered down cranberry juice and ginger ale masquerading as a cocktail that cost $7+ each. The burger came out medium rare instead of medium and the cheddar cheese on top was cold and not even slightly melted. The steak was cooked perfectly however.Overall it was a very disappointing experience and has caused us to rethink whether this restaurant will be somewhere we need to revisit due in very large part to the ineptitude of an individual who is supposed to be a "managing" partner. Again, for the record, his name is Terry Holton. The entire situation could have been completely avoided had the manager been paying attention to what was happening on the floor instead of schmoozing at the bar.

Food was better than expected. Service was good and prices are OK. We went in mid afternoon before the crowds. We are in our late 70s and eat out often. Will return.

We were a party of six on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was very busy. The staff worked as a team and did an excellent job. If you’re looking for good food at the right price with excellent service go to Longhorn in Blairsville. You won’t be disappointed!Mama T
