Good loose hardware selection. Only gripe I have is open until 6 pm means sometimes, but if slow day the claw early so if you're after 5:30, well roll the dice you just might find the closed up and gone... Otherwise better HD or Tractor Supply for nuts small nuts and bolts.

Very unhappy with the mower repair shop. We have to take our Cub Cadet to their shop from the warranty company. We have taken it there for three years due to issues with our mower and each time it takes 1 to 2 months to get our mower back. Very unfriendly people and will not call with any updates. They say parts are not available but when we called to find out where parts are they are in stock, but for some reason the mechanic or manager will not order. They ended up welding the piece that was broken this time instead of ordering the correct part.

Visited this hardware store twice and I really like that the people there are super helpful super friendly every single person I'm from out of town and there's some things that I needed
When I called the gal was very nice to me and got me to the right person
The older gentleman who helped me
Was very informative a new his stuff
I really like that
Just a good hometown
Hardware store that you can't go wrong

Besides being a bit pricey....they say they don't have a public restroom!!!!
Unless you ask the floor person... not the person at the register. What a bunch of BS !!!! But don't worry... we won't and don't need to go back. Stupid customer service!!!!

Nelsons is like many such stores which were vigorous in small town America before the big-bix stores arrived. Nelsons, which is actually George's hardware now, struggles to compete with HD, Tractor Supply and even a nearby Harbor Freight. George's has a good selection and they are the only authorized Stihl dealer here, but most everything they carry can be obtained elsewhere less expensive.

We have been going here for years and have always had a good experience. We recently bought an Exmark Zero turn here and it was very easy and quick! The mower is excellent and does everything we expected! Highly recommend. Very nice people.

Great people in the service department. When I called they told me I’d have to leave my trimmer but took a quick look at it and fixed it on the spot. Saved me a long drive back to pick it up. Thanks!!
