Blue Ridge Pharmacy is honestly the best pharmacy I’ve had experience with here in Blue Ridge. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they make getting my prescriptions filled an easy process. Would 100% recommend getting your prescriptions here.

An rx for a compounded drug was sent to the pharmacy 2/28/25, supposed to be ready by 3/5/2025. Had to make a trip to the pharmacy to pay up front before they would order it. Waited all day on Wednesday 3/5 for a call from the pharmacy that it was ready for pickup. Finally called them as it was after 3pm. Placed on hold for so long that the call disconnected. Took 5 calls back to get a human. Finally spoke with Gracie who informed me that they had determined the day before, Tuesday, that the drug could not be provided by their supplier. She referred me to an online company and had no real reason why no one had called me the day before. She only grudgingly offered a less than sincere "sorry" at the end of the phone call. This was a drug for a sick animal; the vet office was doing everything they could for the animal. I called the vet office to let them know what had happened with Blue Ridge Pharmacy - they had not been contacted either. The vet office had to scramble to get the drug overnighted by an online compounding company. I had to make a return trip on Friday 3/7 to the pharmacy to get my money refunded. They couldn't do the refund without the card present, but said I could get a cash refund instead which didn't make sense as I would still have to drive over there. Once I received the refund I asked to speak with the manager & was told that Gracie in the pharmacy was the person that was there but was already waiting on two other customers. I couldn't wait as the sick animal was in the car. I left my name & phone number for a call back from a manager. By Monday, 3/10, it was clear there would be no phone call. I sent an online message requesting a conversation regarding this service lapse. The auto reply gave the usual "we will contact as soon as possible" response. As of today, 3/13, there has been no call or message response. This lack of a timely notification as soon as they knew they couldn't fulfill the order was most unexpected from this pharmacy. I expect bad service and no follow up from the commercial retailers but not from a local pharmacy that I try to support. The total lack of any response to requests for a conversation is most disappointing. I thought this pharmacy was better than that.

Blue Ridge Pharmacy is the best I have ever encountered. The staff is so friendly and the orders are filled quickly. It is always important that any business treat their customers with courtesy, but even more so when you are dealing with people who are very ill. My family of 5 has been with Blue Ridge Pharmacy for a really long time now. Even with their growth of their company and customers, they are still super friendly, very knowledgeable, and speak everytime you walk into the store. They have a super caring staff that goes above and beyond their customers. Highly recommend!!
