Barbara Jean in the Deli was sooooooo nice and knew so much about cheese!!! Lol she was so kind and helpful. What a blessing.
Tom in the seafood was also so helpful, saved us like 40 bucks on steaks, and gave us some great tips!

They post all their discounts while shopping but require that you scan your Ingles card? The cashier wouldn’t let us use the “store card” and said we need to sign up for their free program and then could use it within 6-8 weeks? What kind of name is Ingles anyway? Stupidest grocery store I’ve ever been to

Yes, bit more expensive then Food Lion. However, their produce is always fresh and delicious . I never order Deli cooked meals since it might be contaminated and they don’t look good. Plus I like to know what is in my food.
I never throw anything out that happens with the other store. Ingles sales are well worth it!
Staff is friendly and very helpful, esp. the Managers.
I will only shop here!

I’ve been shopping at Ingles in Blue Ridge for a while, but I’m really disappointed with how they handle their rewards program. The key tag they give you is flimsy at best — mine fell off after less than a year, and when I tried to enter my number at checkout, it wouldn’t work.
I asked the cashier if they had a generic card I could use or if I could just sign up again on the spot. She told me I wouldn’t get the discount until my second visit — which is just ridiculous. What kind of customer service model tells people they have to come back again to earn a basic discount?
Honestly, I hope Publix moves into the area soon. They offer a much better shopping experience and will hopefully raise the bar here. Until then, I’ll be avoiding Ingles as much as possible. Customers deserve better.

Worst experience, the staff is so rude and racist makes me wonder if they were ever educated or taught anything by their parents(probably not). Its saddening to see such illiterate people are in the hospitality sector or even a profession which requires them to interact with customers. Made my trip a disappointing one adding to the bad food experience. Had to throw out the food as well.

Don’t have options to rate zero or less than one else i would have given -1. Pathetic place if you wish to buy some food. We took veg noodles and another friend ordered chicken fried rice. We had to throw it due absolutely poor taste. The lady at the counter was soo soo soo rude and didn’t even know the menu.
Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Typical Ingles, always nice to shop at however on one trip, the corn on the cob was completely out of stock in early June and Ingles still does not carry my favourite frozen breakfast meal Tatooed Chief. Lots of frozen vegan options and good produce selection. The sourdough bread i got from the bakery was tasty. Self checkout is very sensitive.

Very nice and clean store. The major setback for this grocery store is the high prices. I was stunned on how expensive everything is. Unfortunately this forces you to go to Walmart where the prices are much more manageable.

the store is fine. but the people working in the deli are the rudest people i’ve ever met. one woman in particular with dark hair and glasses. she was working around 1:00 pm april 30 2025 in the deli. rolled her eyes at my grandmother and me and slammed my food on the counter, didn’t even give me a good portion and didn’t ask if i wanted a roll or cornbread. i hope she gets fired because she clearly hates people. we were very polite to her and didn’t say anything rude or mean. she started at us with that energy. Rude.

This was an excellent grocery to visit during a long weekend. They sell firewood and everything needed to build a fire. Friendly staff and clean facilities. A fully stocked deli, produce, and butcher area. All fresh food. We'd love to have an Ingles in our area.

I literally JUST left the Starbucks inside this Ingles. Let me share my experience with you. I ordered a venti sweet cream cold brew (which I rarely do). The price the barrista quoted me as her workmate began preparing it was $6.90! OMG!!! SEVEN DOLLARS?!? I felt sick to my stomach and that is no exaggeration!! I asked the preparer to pour it (nly half a cup was actually coffee) back because I could not allow myself to spend seven dollars on a half cup of liquid. I just don't spend $$$ like THAT. We'll, that barrista (ADDISON) who was preparing the drink insisted on letting me have it.....at HER expense. I attempted to politely decline her extremely GENEROUS offer, but she insisted. Now I am sitting out here thoroughly enjoying this delectable beverage in my car, in the parking lot, writing this review before I budge from this spot, because ADDISON is a unique and special kind of young lady who deserves recognition for her most loving gesture. May this gift return to her tenfold or better!!!! Thank you, ADDISON.

Probably one of the best Ingles market locations I’ve ever visited, five stars!

We went to the deli for dinner and was servied by one of the rudest employees. She appeared mad because we came in. Thinking it couldn't get worse, the man who checked us out was very direct that we should have gone somewhere else to eat because he didn't have time for us. They won't have to worry about us again because that was our last visit to the deli for dinner.

Shoutout to Anthony! My husband and I just got into town tonight to stay in a cabin for a week. I had a whole buggy full of groceries and the store credit card system went down. Anthony went above and beyond to make sure we left with our groceries. There are still good people in the world and he is one. Give Anthony and Ingles your business. We definitely will every time we are in town. Thanks again Anthony
