I am from Canada and decided to stay a few days while in Goergia and like it, great place to relax and enjoy nature. The cabin was nice, clean and we received a great service.

My stay at Morning Star Hideaway changed my life! The cabin was perfectly neat and we had a great family vacation as well as our dog. We'll return next year indeed! Thanks Ana for your kindness and your hard work.

All I have to say is the Property Manager, the large Italian woman will lie and steal your money. Cabin was filth and we refused to stay. It was a 1300 mistake as we had to go elsewhere. It was a get away for my wife that was fighting Stage 4 Breast Cancer and she has since past. This woman had no consideration for human life. Rodents in the cabin with there poop everywhere. There is a special place in hell for people like her. So very sad.

I booked Kayel's Mountain Retreat because Mountain Paws Cabin rentals (now Enchanted Mountain Retreats) advertise on their website that their cabins are pet friendly and that there are no pet fees whatsoever. The cabin I booked was advertised as follows: "Pets are allowed and will most likely enjoy napping on the screened in porch as much as you will." In the FAQs it is stated that pets (plural!) stay for free.I booked, paid in full, and indicated that I would be traveling with my dogs.3 weeks after my payment and intial booking, I received a phone call from AnaLuisa Salvatti on a Sunday morning (!) asking me with how many dogs I was traveling. She informed me that only ONE dog can stay for free, and that each additional dog would cost $50 per stay. In addition, she said there was a 40lb limit for the dogs.I read all policies and rental agreements very carefully before I signed the contract and booked, and NOWHERE in the contract, on the website, or elsewhere are those pet restrictions mentioned. When I asked Ms. Salvatti why those limitations were not outlined in the contract that I had signed, she stated she designed the contract and didn't feel it was necessary to include those fees or restrictions, because "normal people only have one dog".I stated that I felt mislead; she advertises on her website in bold print that there will "never" be a pet fee and that pets (again plural form, indicating that multiple pets will be permitted) are welcome.Ms. Salvatti then snapped that I was "too stupid" or "too lazy" to read her contract properly and threatened that I would have to either shell out an additional $100 for my two dogs or that she would cancel the reservation WITHOUT refund if I had not purchased renter's insurance. Then she hung up on me.Several hours later I found out that she had indeed cancelled my reservation because I refused to pay for my additional two dogs, and because she assumed that my pets would weigh more than 40lbs. I have a Jack Russel mix, a Cairn Terrier mix, and a Beagle mix, none of which weigh more than 40lbs. Ms. Salvatti stated that she believed I would "surely be lying" and cancelled my reservation without informing me personally. I did not receive a cancellation email or anything in writing. She (almost) ruined Christmas for two children and stated she felt great about herself, her policies, her hidden fees, her false advertisement, and how she handled the whole issue.I have not received a refund yet.
