Beware ! This business owner is a crook and have receipts! He moved from Skidaway Road in Savannah after providing poor services. I had my Cadillac service here to transmission cable clip replaced. When I picked the vehicle and made it home, the transmission cable dislodged again (same issue). I brought it to another Auto Service and they explained the clip was wrong size, too loose. They fixed the vehicle for hundred dollars less and in the same. When I called Adkins, he blew it off w a laugh as if “oh well”.
My father also had his vehicle repair last month. He was supposed to have a power steering leak repair . A week later, the truck is still leaking and the business is gone from Savannah without forewarning. Consider another shop so you don’t get robbed like I did.

These guys are super nice, knowledgeable and friendly. They do top notch, quality work. I have been to them a couple of times and they have treated me more than fair each time.

I can’t believe the quality of work these men did on my 5.3 based on years of experience they have behind them. I brought them my block to rebuild and reseal with a mild cam. Apparently they couldn’t get an exhaust bolt out on my head so instead they decided to weld a stud on an ALUMINUM head. When I went to torque the nut on the stud, it snapped at the first pound of torque. Took it back and they wanted my stock manifold, so they drilled the holes on the manifold and moved the exhaust hole up and used a smaller bolt. So now i can’t get the same torque spec on all bolts to fully seal the exhaust, so of course it leaks and sounds like a lifter tick out of a newly rebuilt motor. And on top of all of that, It has been leaking oil since it first fired up, seems to be coming from the oil pan/rear main. With 7k miles on it now, it is now getting much worse and now time to replace the rear main cover and oil pan on essentially a brand new motor. I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I am only leaving it to hopefully help a future customer from getting screwed as I did.

Extremely knowledgeable in what they do, Rebuilding engines. Can't ask for any nicer customer service at a price that's right for the work done. This is the only place you should take an engine to be rebuilt.
