Washington Farms is a family-owned agritourism farm located in Bogart, Georgia, about 15 minutes outside of Athens. It offers a variety of seasonal, fun experiences for the whole family, from field trips to birthday parties. The farm is known for its famous, delicious, pick-your-own strawberries in the spring and its 5.5-acre corn maze and pick-your-own pumpkins in the fall. The farm is expansive with a huge field of family-friendly activities. These include a petting zoo, wagon rides, hay rides, tractor rides, jumping pillows, a mega slide, a bounce pad, a zipline, pig races, a corn mill, gem mining, and jungle gyms. The large corn maze is pretty impressive and can be tricky. The pumpkin patch is free to enter, with payment only for pumpkins. Flower picking, such as for azaleas and sunflowers, is available for an extra fee. It is a fantastic place perfect for a day out, providing plenty of photo opportunities. The overall atmosphere is charming and enjoyable, with super friendly staff. They also have picnic tables and concession stands offering snacks, sandwiches, drinks, kettle corn, and strawberry slushies.
