“We started taking our Coco to Critter Fixer recently, after moving to the area. It is important that wherever we take our fur baby, they also offer boarding. Unfortunately, Coco has digestive issues, and if we ever have to board him, we would rather have him at a veterinary hospital that is familiar with his medical needs. The staff is always friendly, and the veterinarians take their time when telling us exactly what needs to be done to keep our little one in the best health. My husband and I had a couple of occasions outside of Coco's annual visits where our pup needed medical care, and Critter Fixer was able to accommodate us within hours. Their boarding service is reasonably priced, and they even take the dogs on daily walks during boarding so they can get some exercise. I'm not sure what the boarding facilities look like, but I will say that my Coco did not seem traumatized after his stay, so it must have been decent. My only issue is that it is not easy to get them on the phone. They have a phone service that answers and will try to transfer you, and if no one answers, they take a message and have the office call you back. Since we live about 10 minutes away, usually my husband will drive to their office to schedule appointments, but it is definitely inconvenient and annoying. Overall, we are pleased with the service and glad to have a place to take our fur baby for all his needs.”

“I usually go to Gordon because they are cheaper but then I found Houston a vet clinic and I’ve been bringing my dog here ever since. I’ll pay the price tag to get the kind of compassion and care they give my dog. The dr is very thorough and always makes sure you have your questions asked and answered. Not only that but the dr is one you can email with questions and he responds even on weekends. How awesome is that!? They treat your dog with care and respect and I couldn’t have asked for a better vet clinic. I trust them 100% even after only 6 mo. Thanks y’all for being so good to my sweet girl.”

“I've been using southwood since 2020 and they were okay I guess but pricey. I suddenly had to take my cat, sid, here for a uti and blockage and they are amazing. I am Immediately impressed here, one visit was all it took for me to switch vets. Not only very friendly and professional, but very understanding of financial situations. They worked with me greatly on the price. Maddi is a wonderful tech too. Definitely recommend.”

Even after I moved away, I still drove 3.5hrs back for follow-up care with my cat. I wish I could have taken the whole clinic with me when I moved. “I called, absolutely panicking, to let them know I was on the way. While trying to hold a dying puppy and drive a stick shift and give them my information, they let me know they found my account from a few years ago and had everything I needed just told me to get there and drive safe.When I came in I gave them my name, they were aware of the situation and took her directly back. They were matter of fact about cost and very transparent about everything, and to be honest it was all reasonably priced.I was sat down and talked to by the veterinarian within about 30 minutes of dropping Marmite off, which is way faster than other after hours services I have used.They also have TEXT UPDATES!!! Which is so great for a worrier like me.If you have a pet emergency, you won’t be reading reviews before you go, but if for some reason you are- your pup will be well taken care of here. ? ❤️ #nomv”
