My experience at Bowdon’s Discount Mart was frustrating and disappointing. The owner banned me from the property, falsely accusing me of dumping trash in his dumpster which I never did. I had placed a bag behind the dumpster because I was planning to ask him personally for permission, but he wasn’t there at the time. Unfortunately, I got into a disagreement with my sister (who lives across the street), left, and forgot about it.
When I remembered, I went back, apologized, and removed the bag myself. It never touched his dumpster. It was never in his dumpster. Still, the owner accused me not only of that but also of leaving bags of beer and soda cans on his property which I did not do. He even claimed he had called the police, though he never showed any proof of that.
Honestly, this store seems to pick and choose who they treat with respect. Fairness and professionalism don’t seem to be a priority here. And let’s not forget for a place called “Bowdon ’s Discount Mart,” the prices aren’t even discounted. The selection is lacking too.
