After living in Braselton for 9 years, I “finally” stumbled on Outdoor Environments. I needed some perennials for my courtyard and “CARLY” did a fantastic job in helping me to find the right mix. She was extremely knowledgeable and treated me like I was family. I could not have been more pleased with my visit. I’m sure I will be making more trips to this nursery in the future.

Outdoor Environments is a great place to get everything you need to start a garden. All of the soil and seed we bought from them worked great and we enjoyed our veggies all summer.

Not a single person greeted me or acknowledged that I was even there. Not a smile and nod. Not a hello. Nothing. I am new to gardening and I’ve been super excited to learn all there is to know about gardening. I was referred by a friend who raves about this place so I thought I’d go check it out. My experience was not the same as hers so I’ll have to go elsewhere. A hello goes a long way when I’m spending my money.

Excellent one stop shop for everything landscaping related. They have a huge selection of plants, outdoor equipment for pruning and the like, some cute lawn decorations and pots, and essential landscaping materials like high quality top soil, sand, mulch, pond stones, pinestraw, and the like. They have grass and some vegetable seeds, dozens of fertilizers and weed killers, annuals and perennials from 1 gallon up to 7+ gallons in size. They've got SUPER helpful and knowledgeable staff that are always ready to help you out and find the best items for your home and yard with expert advice. They do delivery for large quantities of rock / mulch / topsoil, as well as selling by the scoop, in bagged form, and even by the bucket if you just need a little of something. Can't recommend this place enough for anything you might need for landscaping.
Very fair prices and even cheaper than home depot in some cases. Lots of odds and ends you can't find in big box stores, that are more targeted for local area issues (i.e. Plants that grow best in our area specifically, and weed killer for specific problem plants for the local area). Odds and ends such as large paving stone steps sold individually, and specialty plants that aren't commonly seen in other stores. Great local shop with excellent customer service.
As a note, their hours do vary depending on the time of year, so check their website or call for hours if you're near the beginning or end of a season when planning a visit.

Great selection (especially for trees) and the staff is the best around! We'll go here first before checking anywhere else.

Love this place! Lived here for 15 years and just found this spot. Great place for bulk mulch and rock products competitively priced. Amazing selection of nursery plants and gardening accessories!

This is the first time I have visited this store. This is clearly a wholesale operation catering to landscapers. They have a decent amount of plants. However, I couldn't find anyone to assist me.

Best, most supportive team around. Huge selection of plants and everything in between to make your weekend projects a success. Just wish open on Sundays but I get it, they to need family time.

I Bought two blue spruces here last week for my in laws. Around 260+ $ each. They were not happy with the shape of one of the trees.I called outdoor environments and a lady answered and told us we could come switch it out with another one no problem. We had not planted it yet, or removed it from the packaging. My in laws made the 10 minute commute with no harm done to the tree. They were told by a man named Bryan that there would be a 50% restock fee; which has never been a policy at outdoor environments, The attendant also did not mention that fee when I called and asked if we could switch a tree out.Upset, my in-laws told them that was not fair, because we were simply swapping a tree, and it was in perfect condition. Then either Bryan or another employee told them “There’s the gate”,My family has spent thousands here over the years without issue. I have referred multiple people to purchase plants, stones, mulch, and so forth. I have made acquaintances with some of the employees because it is such a lovely store. However, what happened to my in-laws makes me sick to my stomach. A simple Christmas gift turned into a very stressful event with them told to leave.I will Not shop here anymore, nor refer anyone to this business, and will make it very aware how they treat their customers here online, until a refund, or an apology is given at the very least.I specifically remember asking the employees if I should cover the trees before I left, to which Carly and another employee replied, “it’s fine to drive without a covering on those spruces”. And this is the first time I’ve heard about a restock charge in 5 years of shopping here. Totally unacceptable to treat loyal customers like this.
