I have previously given excellent reviews for 2 years. Now it is not the same welcoming, friendly or enjoyable store. Overall, the atmosphere is rushed, the exchange is lacking & sadly the regretful feeling I have leaving is unnecessary. I do not want to feel that way where I trade at. My business is contributing toward the means of this store. I have chosen to trade purposely at Cole's Corner for over 3 years. The last year I have been embarrassed by comments directly from the staff to another customer about my purchases. Commenting rudely like it is acceptable. I did not come to spend my money to be crudely roasted. Talking to other customers like they are better then them. Clearly irritated by certain customers presence then asking "What do YOU want!" upon entering the store. Intentionally & loudly humiliating, berating such person's like they are a child, stupid or a prisoner of war. The customer service tactics are undesirable at the least, highly offensive on a personal level. Most stores have a coin donation container by register. The take a penny , give a penny system. When a paying regular customer {who actually provides a courtesy service to me by going to the store for me as well since I am legally blind} gets banned for asking a man to borrow a dime after spending both of our cash monies mins right before is a shame. Implying he was panhandling, bc of his own conversation telling the other customer thank you. This is a small town, we give rides to ppl walking, we go help ppl out that need help, we are caring & supportive of each other & our community. Apparently that is not important or appreciated here to some employees with their unfair behavior. The instances I experienced are prejudice & extremely disrespectful in nature.
