Ison's Nursery and Vineyard is a family-owned and established business that specializes in plants, trees, and vines. They are highly recommended by fellow gardeners and are known for their expert knowledge. Customers order a variety of items including black currant bushes, blackberry plants like the Galaxy, peach trees such as the Bonanza patio peach, grape vines like Southern Sensation and Concord, boysenberry plants, and muscadine vines.
The business ships orders across the country in a timely manner, often within days, following a dormant season shipping schedule. Plants are packaged very well and rigorously to arrive in great condition, often using moisture gel to protect the roots. The plants themselves are noted for their excellent quality, described as absolutely huge and thriving, and arriving full of buds. The nursery team provides invaluable help and expert advice on plant husbandry.
While shipping costs are noted, the plants themselves are very affordable. The company provides excellent customer service, quickly replacing any item damaged in transit. Customers are consistently impressed, thoroughly recommend Ison's, and plan to be recurring mail order customers. They also offer helpful resources like the "All About Muscadines" book.
