I came in from out of town my appointment was at 10:30. They took everyone else but me. I waited for an hour just sitting there and I ended up leaving. I would of paid double the amount of 180 just to get my hair braided and in the chair on time. And I was going to tip well.

I’ve been a customer for the past 7 years. No matter what style I’ve gotten, it’s always been VERY NEAT and professionally done. The prices are consistent and the staff is like family! They’ve always been respectful, kind and friendly! Love my Fatou Family!!

Visiting SSI from Chicago and needed to get knotless braids. First time having my hair done here and loved it! Showed a picture of what I normally get and she did even better. My braids look fantastic. I will be back next year!

I didn’t stay. The shop was unappealing and the customer service was poor. I spoke with a customer outside who was pleased and she shared information as well. Considering what I’ve paid for professional African braids, I can’t go downscale. No way! The money they make on Black hair, why not spiff up the place⁉️ Aren’t we worth it?

I came here twice and both times I did not get what I asked for. And instead of saying they can't do the styles I ask, they attempt the style and it comes out looking horrible. I won't be going back. #fool me twice

I got my usual 6 cornrow braids. When The young slim woman was finish braiding my hair, she begin to use spritz all over my hair and the use a lighter after she spritz it which caught my hair on fire. She lightly blew on my hair which wasn’t working after 5 seconds so I had to pat the fire out of my hair with my hand. Another braider asked if it hurt. I said yes!! When the young woman asked, who I believed was the owner how much to charge me (the owner had seen my hair on fire), the owner still charged me the full price of $60. The section of my hair that caught on fire was damaged. Don’t spend your money at this establishment with their awful customer service.

Called at 10 asking about getting my hair braided. Stylist says she still at home and will call back in 30 40 min. Did not return call all day. Coming from a big city where shops open at 6am this was disappointing. Guess they had already paid rent and didn't need to male money. Not the first time I've been brushed aside by them. Taking my $$ to jville
