I am still at a loss for words. I've been supporting kim and Patrick for years. I drive so far. I'm hurt and disappointed after being told that if I need a pedicure to go to Brunswick because I made a comment maybe over a year ago that was not a complaint, Which, I found out tonight that a nail tech must have had an issue with me inquiring and stating "to kim" I don't like the drill used on my toes. I went in 2/18/2023 around 3pm Kim asked what i need. I said pedicure. She's turned me around several time due to being so busy and Im understand I just say ok and come another time or day. She told me write name and phone number. she will call me. I asked her if i needed to come tomorrow or another day she said, no. I didn't mind waiting as I have waited before no problem. I found out today that Kim, the owner, had a conversation with another nail tech about a conversation I had with the previous nail tech that has an issue with me as to why she use drill on my feet. The nail tech said "sometimes nail too thick" though it puzzled me I thought oh, ok. Til this day no Salon used the drill on my toes. That drill had caused the bed of my toenails to become uneven. When Kim done my pedicure a different time I asked Kim why do the other lady always use the drill on my toes and she doesn't? Kim ask me in return "why? do you not like drill?" I said, "no I don't like that". I wasn't rude or upset it was just us talking. It's been months and another year has passed. However, i remembered it after Kim explained things to me. Kim told me tonight that she don't do pedicure unless it's a long wait time. She said the nail tech told her that because I don't like drill Kim need to do my pedicure. I noticed this particular nail tech stopped doing my pedicure but I had no idea that it was all because I stated I don't like my toes drilled. Kim said after today go to Brunswick for pedicure. I have never complained, I tip, and I encourage others to go there. I asked Kim if she was having a bad day because even when she turned the water on for me to place my feet in the water I asked her if she was going to put the salt rocks in the water she took a deep breath like I upset her. She said, "you're getting basic pedicure not deluxe. I don't care. It don't matter to me" she picked up the container of salt rock and scooped up the tiniest bit and threw it in the water. I asked her if she was ok. I asked her why she was being mean today and that's when she just basically went off telling me like she doesn't do pedicures but she do my pedicure because that other nail tech told her that since I don't like my toenails drilled on she refuses to ever do my pedicures again. I'm still shocked. Kim said I'll do your nails but not pedicures. it's crazy because sometimes I do get both done at the same time. I was totally caught off guard when the owner said go to Brunswick for pedicure. I never complained to the original nail tech nor Kim about anything and today I go there to relax and get treated like I done something wrong. I waited over 3 plus hours for her to bring up something that wasn't even an intentional complaint. I've always been nice and respectful to her and her family and out of nowhere basically tell me don't come there anymore for pedicure. I said I have a health issue to where I don't want drilling on my toes. I asked her a few times what's wrong and she never acknowledged me. I paid, told her I hope she feels better after she snatched the toe separation away from my toes. Unbelievable after all the years and I still don't know why this happened to me. I told her I wished she had told me a long time ago or told me today she didn't want my business. Especially when i haven't caused any issues. It hurts because I've been going to her for yrs. This is how I feel and considering I went to relax it was very stressful because I didn't do anythin

I called and was told they don't take appointments. They always seem short staffed. They tell you to come on a certain day and when you get there ask you to come back the next day. What a waste of time and gas. I do not recommend.

Called the day before for 3 appointments and they squeezed us in the following morning. They did a great job on all of our nails. Good prices and nice conversationalists! If we were in town longer we would definitely go back!

I was in desperate need of a pedi and full set and this is one of the only places open on Sundays in the area. I was able to walk in at opening (noon) and get a pedi. My full set took a while due to appointments, but I was still out in a decent amount of time. Kim and Megan went above and beyond to accommodate me even though they were extremely busy. They did an amazing job and I'll be back. Just remember that it's best to have an appointment on Sundays since they're super packed with clients all day.

I had to come to this place 2 times and paid 50$ and my nails are horrible the first time I went they were super bumpy The second time I went she was horribly rude and refused to give me a refund I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Worst experience ever!!!! I got abs and it's all bumpy and some parts aren't even colored enough and u can see my nails. The guys also cut about six out of ten of my fingers so badly that they still hurt two days later. He asked how long I wanted the tips on my nails to be and I showed him then he proceeded to file them down so far tht they weren't the length I originally asked for. Absolute worst experience!!!!!!

While I would love to give them an awesome review, I just can't. I just moved to St. Simon's Island. I have religiously had my nails done from the same nail tech, every two weeks, for the last 15 years so i was hoping the first place that I picked close to home would be my spot. The first time I had my nails done by Kim with a dipping powder. It was a great job and held up. When I called again for another appointment, I had spoken with Kim and was under the impression that she would do my nails. A man did my nails. I like dip powder on my nails and gel polish on my toes which I like to match. After picking 3 dip colors that the guy could not match with gel, I then just settled on gel for nails as well. By end of day my nails chipped. I went back the next day to which he just put another 2 coats on. By end of day the color had chipped. I then requested Kim and went in on Wednesday. Kim did the dip and charged me. I should not have to pay after going back a 3rd time in 4 days. Very disappointed. She could have had a regular client.
