They'll say it's only an hour, yet here I am almost three hours later waiting for a prescription. I can't convey the amount of pain it's costing me, having to be in a public area with a respiratory infection that has been plaguing me, and won't let me rest. Why tell people a false time estimate, especially when there are sick people depending on an accurate time for their medication? We have jobs, kids, and lives that we need to return to but instead I'm sitting at publix.

My doctor called in a prescription, I show up and they say it'll be an hour. I'm okay with waiting but when two hours passed and I arrived once again, they told me that it still wasn't ready. Two and a half hours I've had to sit in public, waiting for medicine so I can breath properly. Two an a half hours I've had to be kept from resting. Two and a half hours I've been in public with bronchitis, two days I've gone without sleep I just want to rest and get relief. Please use a different pharmacy if you want decent care.

Even though google says pharmacy is open on new years until 7pm, they are closed. And customer service desk WILL give you attitude and tell you “well I don’t work in the pharmacy” when you tell them they need to check the google hours to have them changed to prevent more confusion.

Beyond grateful to the Publix Bakery! The day before our wedding, we were delivered our wedding cake by a private vendor. It was an absolute disaster and completely not usable. I called the Publix bakery and spoke to the manager, who was extremely helpful and confident they could help us out. I came in person less than 24 hours before our wedding and place an order directly with the bakery team, and showed the person who would be decorating the cake a picture of what we wanted. She promised to get it to us by 1pm and called me on the dot to pick it up. They not only created a work of art, but something that was delicious and way beyond what we could've asked for! It was less than $300 in total for a two tier (10 inch with 8 inch on top) wedding cake (red velvet cake with cream cheese filling on top & marble cake with vanilla custard bottom) which is honestly very affordable. Check out the pictures attached! Thank you again to the AMAZING bakery staff! So professional and skilled!

Incompetence at its finest at this establishment. I don't know if it's the whole city or county at this location but the service down here is horrendous. They will hire just about anyone these days I'm afraid

Clean and organized. A little pricey, but that's Publix for ya. After a long shift, Barbara kept her counter open late for us weary travelers craving Publix sandwiches. She is a real delight! Everyone we encountered was nice. Thanks!

I noticed that this store has a 3.5 rating and that's pretty much how I'd rate them - 3 stars. Exterior Anchor store in a big plaza, but there are lots of neighboring tenants sharing the space and the parking lot is ALWAYS crowded, no matter the time of day. Interior For some reason, this store doesn't seem as open and spacious as the Publix stores I'm used to. I don't know if the interior walls are dark or the ceiling is lower, but it's just an oddly claustrophobic feeling store once you venture past the cashier stations. Price / Value Publix has always been a bit pricier than local grocery stores but the 'amazing' customer service and wide variety of in-stock groceries used to justify the prices. As long as you stick to sales only items and purchase essentials (fresh produce, milk, dairy, eggs) and avoid pre-packaged, convenience foods - you'll be fine. Customer Service About that amazing customer service - Customer service has always been hit or miss here. About 50% of the time, you'll deal with a rep who makes you want to look around to see if you're being filmed for a training video, because their customer service is just so stellar, but the other 50% of the time you're gonna be saddled with someone who's awful and hasn't been fired (or quit) yet. Lol. This store has a LOT of employees who prioritize standing around chatting with coworkers versus working. Typically, I'm fine with this, because I pick up my little odds and ends and I use self-checkout. The only time I need staff members to actually assist me is to slice some Boar's Head deli meat or on the rare occasion that I'm getting one of their delicious sub sandwiches. Since I know how slooooooow they are - I typically order both these items in advance. Last visit, I tried to use online ordering to get some deli meat sliced but the system was not showing any of my desired products as available for order. This happens sometimes, so I called. I had to call the store 3 times before I could get anyone to answer. The associate (middle-aged AA lady) answered with a smile in her voice. She was joking with me and asked how long before I arrived and I told her I'd be inside in about 5 minutes because I was in front of Goodwill (next door) unloading some items. She said "You're in our parking lot!" like she couldn't believe I was calling in an order from the parking lot. She was jokingly giving me a hard time. I told her, 'Yes - but I've been calling you since before I left Darien over 30 minutes ago." She apologized for the delay in reaching someone and assured me they'd have my items ready before I made it inside. She told me that 2 of the items I wanted were available in the sliced & ready section and she knew for certain because she'd just stocked / replenished them. So they only needed to slice ONE product. Somehow, I was not surprised when I entered the store roughly 10 minutes later and this same associate was standing in the center of the department, laughing and chatting with another associate. And a different associate (white brunette woman) was behind the counter at the deli meat section, bagging popcorn at a very leisurely pace. I approached and explained that I was picking up an order I'd called in and she says, "Oh ... yeah ... I was just about to slice that for you." So even though I'd called this in and indicated that I was already here, the priority was still somehow bagging popcorn to put on a shelf for later. Overall Overall, I really like Publix, but this store is falling victim to a lot of bad hires and this has been the case since before the pandemic.

My doctor called in 2 prescriptions and I was told it would be ready at 2 o'clock. I called from the parking lot at 2 to check the cost and was told to wait one more hour. After waiting an hour, I was told my medication wasn't even in stock and would have to be ordered and they would not give me an estimated arrival date just said "we have no estimation". By this time my doctor's office was closed for the weekend they refused to transfer my 2 prescriptions to Winn Dixie. I was told my doctor would have to call in a new prescription. Which I know to be a lie because Georgia allows one transfer between pharmacies. Tech was named Jessica and Publix is a very inconsiderate and uncaring pharmacy. Now I get to tough it through the weekend after a surgical procedure without any help until Monday.

Publix pharmacy treated my wife horrible. The tech named Jessica spoke to my wife as if she were trash. We switched to publix to save a few dollars but would rather go broke using another pharmacy. Take your prescription elsewhere if you wanted to be treated with respect.

(3.25) ~ pretty good conventional grocery store. Probably the best one in the local area, but I've been to other Publix stores that were much bigger an thus had a broader selection of products.

Pretty hard to call. The corporate entity is a good store, but they hire some strange people.

Pharmacist and worker were standing near a donut box in the backwhen I asked about pain meds for my grandson that just left the ER with a broken arm. I was told they were "still working on it". I asked like that and pointed to them hovering around the donut box???!! Very rude, lack ANY compassion at all!!! Never use this place again!!! If I could give 0 stars I would!!!See photos of donut box! They acted like they were working when I took pics.

I dropped off prescription just after 12:30 told me would be ready in a couple hours it’s now 4:21 and still not ready still going to be an hour kind of messed up when there were at least 5 people working behind that counter on any given day I have been a customer for quite a while and if this is the service you get it’s really not worth one of his meds being free. Mine are not free but it’s starting to really not worth giving them my business
