I hate to do this to you Ace Hardware, but you asked for it.
Do not get your propane filled here if you have a partial tank to top off... example: if your tank is half full, you will be charged for a full tank, if your tank is 3/4 full, you will be charged for a full refill.
Do yourself a favor and go to Tractor supply if at all possible... they will only charge you for the actual amount of propane that was needed to fill your tank to the full level.
Shame on you Ace Hardware, we work hard for our money.

Dear owner,
There is nothing really that needs to be discussed on the matter.
The fact is, you charge folks for a whole tank refill regardless of the amount of propane they actually need to fill their tank.
How much do you charge now, 19.00 plus dollars to fill a tank from empty to full?
That is all well and fine if that's what I'm doing (filling an empty tank to full).
However, when I watch/witness you topping people tanks (as well as my own) off and charging them full price for that top off, WELL THAT REALLY GRATES MY CHEESE!
A very underhanded and dishonest way of doing business owner of Ace Hardware Buford.
I'll wager that if you were to post a sign indicating your policies on the matter most folks would probably pass on letting you fill their tank.
Might even get them to wondering what other shenanigans you might be pulling on them while they shop. Might even shy folks away from shopping at Ace Hardware Buford.

Joe was one of the most helpful associates I've ever encountered at an ace hardware. Very knowledgeable and EXTREMELY helpful. He got me exactly what i needed without trying to sell me anything and everything. He very thoroughly explained different options and price points and then provided his opinion as to what he would use for the job. I cant thank him ENOUGH! Will be coming back just for him!
