My husband Nathan wrote a review a few weeks ago and we were told to contact customer support. We have FIVE TIMES and here we are still waiting for someone to get in contact with us. They ACT like they care but when you really need them all you hear is crickets. I have a special needs brother that lives with us and we’re stranded and can’t take him to doctors appointments, we’re unable to earn a living because we don’t have a reliable car. They tell you what you want to hear to get your money but at the first sign of trouble you won’t hear a word from ANYONE. All they say is “we sent your information to corporate” Run don’t walk to another dealership. We bought our car for over $12,000 for it to start having problems TWO MONTHS after we got it.

Shopped for two weeks before I found the right vehicle and the right deal at Auto Nation VW. I probably talked to every VW dealership within 100 miles from Atlanta and Auto Nation was the best. Lydia Kegg and Grace (sales manager) made the purchasing process easy and pleasant. They kept the process simple and transparent. Lydia showed concern for us. Charles the Finance Director finished the process in a pleasant manner.
Obviously, I had a very pleasant purchasing experience and highly recommend these individuals!

Edit: We contacted AutoNation Volkswagen AND AutoNation Hyundai on Monday. We have emailed corporate FIVE times and they don’t care. We were promised that the GM would be in contact and that was on Monday, it is now Thursday at 7:14 p.m and surprise surprise no one has been in contact. If they tell you a car is dependable I highly suggest RUNNING because chances are it will break down in less than 2 months. They don’t care that we are unable to make a living or buy our groceries because we don’t have a car. They don’t care that I’m unable to go pick up my brother’s leg braces. If you have to go to a random side of the road place then please do so because at least you won’t be out of your savings of over $12,000.
This is a weird situation, on August 18th 2024 we went to AutoNation Volkswagen . The car the salesman at AutoNation Volkswagen showed us online was a 2018 Kia Optima. It was actually parked at the AutoNation Hyundai Mall of Ga. We fell in love with it and bought it, even though the car belonged to AutoNation Hyundai Mall of Ga our paperwork has AutoNation Volkswagen. Not even 2 months later it messed up and it’s been in the shop 3 times since October. We just had it fixed last week and surprise surprise it’s messed up AGAIN. I have a special needs brother who has Celebral Palsy and I now I don’t have a car to take him to his doctors appointment. I’m suppose to start my new job just as soon as they schedule the orientation but now I don’t have a car. We told the salesman about my brother and made it clear we had to have a dependable car. He reassured us that it was dependable. We are low income and can’t afford to buy another car. My wife can’t even take my brother to his doctors appointment to pick up his new leg braces because we don’t have a car. We trusted AutoNation and was seriously let down. We would’ve come out better going to a side of the road place.

From setting up my appointment Sami was all over it. He made sure to ask what worked best, how I liked the car, would I add anything else, etc. I felt every stone was turned by the time I left.

This review is specifically about window-tinting, which was added by AutoNation Buford to a new 2019 Volkswagen Jetta I purchased. I have 2 major concerns.
First, the window tinting fee was never discussed and simply appeared as an extra fee at the time of purchase. Second, AutoNation does NOT warrant their window tinting unless the customer pays an additional extended warranty fee.
Buyers beware! Do not pay for AutoNation's window tinting. Request a new car that has not yet received this. Reputable window tinting companies do offer a lifetime warranty against bubbles and peeling. Recently, my Jetta's back windshield began bubbling all over. AutoNation GA will not take responsibility for the poor window tinting job that they added to my vehicle before I purchased it.

Sami in sales was attentive and upfront and honest with the condition of the used GTI I bought, and explained properly the different line item charges. Nothing was hidden or unexpected.
