Love to shop at Belk, however it's been hard lately to find someone to cashier. The times are changing for retail stores and I don't like it. I like to be able to find help and get questions answered or guidance on where items are in store.

Stay away from this place , I went shopping as I was putting stuff in my cart a worker with a thick accent , I think she might be polish or Russian or somewhere around there started following me EVERYWHERE!!!!! Then I went upstairs to check out the women’s section nothing caught my attention so I got in the elevator and as I looked back I see her running towards me again , mi d you when I went upstairs she had already followed me to the elevator , it was horrible , she followed me so closely until I was at the register and stood there beside me , it was a horrible experience, I felt harassed and stalked this lady is crazy , she needs to get fired it was so overwhelming and scary at the same time.

Good store with many name brand items. Often crowded but moving right along. Always good sales.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I work in the mall and from time to time I walk thru the Belks store to shop before or after my shift. Today I stopped by to shop for my wife and I’s anniversary. I was helped by a very helpful employee upstairs who although was busy pointed me in the direction of what I was looking for. However, a different story was to be told about the associate who checked me out. She started off asking if I had my App pulled up to which I answered I can do it now and her response was to not even try and pull it up because their was a glitch and B) she had to get back to where she was originally. I didn’t mind that much attention. I began to make a conversation telling her that I work at the mall and when I was shopping previously I saw this particular item that was perfect for my wife for our anniversary. Her response was “Oh so it’s your fault that our customer counter is thru the roof, you just go in and out. In and out as you please. Go ahead and keep on doing that”. She also for whatever reason kept trying to tell me I was someone I was not. Had it not been that the item was one I was set on I would have left without making a purchase. Worst retail experience I have ever had.

Belk isn't the best department store around but it serves its purpose by offering affordable merchandise

Staff wasn't very helpful and seemed blissfully unaware of nearby alternatives. No wonder it was my mom's store and I haven't been there since she passed.

Customer service isn’t that great lady said my payment didn’t go through she charged me 3 times the same amount when it approved every single time and showed her what happened with my bank she didn’t really care enough to try to return me the money worst experience ever . If I could rate it a 0/5 stars I would’ve ! Cashier ID #011401
