Y’all need more workers on register! The lines are ridiculously long, and it’s frustrating to wait so long just to check out. It feels like there’s no sense of urgency or enough staff to handle the rush. Definitely need to improve this! This goes for all Burlington stores!

I have been coming to this store for sooooo long. I spend a lot of money at this store. But after today, you don't have to worry about me. I came in today with my husband and two sons to find my oldest a suit for his first dance.
My youngest son found a gold chain on the floor in the women's clothing section. It looked like it might be an accessory to a shirt or something. I asked where he found it and he said the floor. I said "Here. Let's hang it here by this sweater." And we headed to the back to look at toys that he wanted to spend his allowance money on.
At that moment, were being followed with every turn we made. By not one person, but two people. Every aisle we went on, they watched and followed us.
A lady with a green sweater and head wrap on. And a young gentleman with a tan hoodie on. I figured they were secret shoppers, but didn't think anything of it since we'd done nothing wrong.
Once my youngest son picked a toy, we made our way to the front to meet my husband and oldest son who were trying on clothes.
We continued to be followed. Still, we minded our business.
We got to the checkout counter where my youngest son pulled out his wallet and proudly paid for his toys.
My husband paid for the clothes and shoes we bought.
As we headed out the door, the buzzer went off.
We headed back inside to find one of those security tags still stuck to one of the shoes my husband paid for.
The gentleman at the counter asked my husband if he had a chain. My husband said "No." And the gentleman behind the counter removed the security tag on the shoe that got left in there.
If y'all thought we had a chain, why not just ask us before we left? Instead of telling every single person???
I'm not sure why they felt the need to follow us around like dogs. I'm wondering if it's because I'm white, my husband is black, and my children are biracial. Maybe the two employees (both black) didn't like the fact that we were together and decided to give us a hard time?
I'm not really sure, but what I DO know is this location will no longer have to worry about me spending my money there ever again.
You all need to do a better job of being a "Secret Shopper" because you blew your cover. You did a great job of looking ghetto and being rude. We raised our children to work hard, value a dollar, and show respect. They definitely don't need to steal.

If you’re looking to be treated poorly, this is the store to go to. I was kicked out 15 minutes before their stated closing time. There is an employee named Linda who is EXTREMELY RUDE. No business should hire staff that treats customers so disrespectfully. I’m sorry, but this person is just incredibly rude.

I found some cute bebe shoes for a steal of a price today on 8/30 and when I was checking out Linda pretended it wasn’t the right tag and hid them in her drawer so she can buy them herself. The tag matched the description of the shoes.There was only one pair in the entire store.Horrible customer service. I will be contacting corporate. This is not okay.
