Clothes were nice but my daughter and I went in. There was another young man in the store. No b associate spoke to us but kept running over to the other gentleman. Will not be buying anything from here

They really buy your stuff for dirt cheap without further consideration. Honestly would never sell here again.

What a waste of time. They paid out $16 for 6 items: new with tag Everlane top, new w tag Talbots turtleneck, New w tag WYAF bodysuit, a new no tag Revolve dress and two other great PreOwned things. That’s like $2.40 per piece! Then they go and sell for over $20. I rather take my chances selling somewhere else. Other CM in other states pay $4-$5 per piece at least

If you’re looking to buy items, it’s comparable to other thrift stores in the area however, if you’re looking to sell, DON’T get your hopes up! Designer shoes in boxes practically new, worn only once or twice, dresses still with tags on them - I waited almost 3 hours just for them to offer $8.40 for two of my items!
What a waste!

Clothes mentor Buford offer you very low buyout pricing for your items… so low that the young lady that helped me could not even look me in my face when she told me the pricing for my basket of mostly new with tag items. In my opinion you’d be better off just donating your items elsewhere.

This location is a joke. If I could give 0 stars I would. The customer service is non existent. I entered and waited several minutes before being greeted or assisted. Once finally assisted the cashier tells me how much the total of my buy would be and then I asked her how much a particular purse would be sold for…she proceeds to tell me she can’t see how much they are selling the purse for which is a complete lie because I literally heard the other cashier tell the white woman in front of me the price of her purse being sold a couple minutes before me. Moral of the story if you’re a woman of color I’d avoid this location and just visit one of the many other locations because this location has certainly lost a customer in me and my family. Needless to say I took all of my items and left! The level of service is completely different here when it comes to black and white women. Shame on you Clothes Mentor!!!

total waste of time. they’ll give you pennie’s for your good clothing and it’s funny because for the prices they pay you i don’t find items in the store for any of those prices.

The workers in the store were very nice, and the store is very nice and well-kept. I would shop there, but I would probably not sell any more clothes to them. They took some brand new items with tags and some other very gently used items, and I only got $22. Totally not worth it.

This is possibly a good spot to shop, but if you are selling, you get extremely little for your clothing.

The outside of the store will catch your eye, it's always cute clothes with a fresh seasonal attitude. When you open the door you are greeted by "Welcome to Clothes Mentor" at least by 2 people. Then when they see you put a few things in your arms they immediately ask, "can I start you a basket". They want you to enjoy your shopping experience. I have even asked them questions as for fit/fashion advice. I am over 50 with a teen child and have ALWAYS gotten good advice while staying warm and friendly. Whenever I need something new or just a pick me up I shop here. I have recommended this store to many others and even teacher friends as they offer a discount before school starts for teachers. I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff, location and service at Clothes Mentor Buford.

I would like to see this store grow & improve. Friendly staff & clean, bright, organized store but their inventory is not being sold fast enough which makes it hard for people who want to sell their clothes to this business & end up getting turned away because inventory is full. Clothes aren’t being sold fast enough here. Maybe even rotate the tags with colors & have 50% sales each week on one rotating color. I came in to browse the 90% sale that happened this weekend & was disappointed to only see a few items actually marked for clearance.

This is my 3rd time trying to drop off clothes here. Some stuff is brand new with tags still on them. Name brand Banana Republic, Michael Kors sandals, Nikes, Guess, are just to name a few and each time the same girl says “ your stuff is not a fit for our store” I see stuff in that store that is faded, shoes worn out and clothes that look cheap. I’m starting to think it may not be the clothes that is not a fit but maybe something more personal??♀️. When I left I said “okay no problem thank you” she did not say a word.No manner's , just rude. I tried another consignment store near by and they took everything without hesitation!

I wish I could give 100 stars. I'm extremely picky and find it hard to find anything that I like but when I went into clothes mentor today I found it hard to choose the bag I was going to purchase ? I will definitely be going back every couple of weeks to shop
