I came recently to get a screen repair . Got the screen fixed my phone shut off and never came back on . I came back to get a new battery replacement they told me that my phone had water damage my phone had no water damage prior before they fixed it and they told me it wasn’t gonna be able to be fixed . I went to get my phone fixed at another phone place and they told me that my phone got messed up and i had to pay an extra 160 dollars because my face id proxy got messed up when it got fixed at gfix and my battery was messed up in the process. I want a refund

ABSOLUTELY AVOIDI got my battery changed here for my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Everything worked fine for about the first 10 days. Then the phone started randomly restarting every few hours one day and the next day it went to 0% battery and restarted every 2 minutes.I would be able to send one text before the phone would restart. I was traveling at the time so this was a nightmare. Luckily I had a coworker who used his phone to navigate during the trip and booked me an Uber when we got home.I decided I did not want to take anymore chances and went to the Apple Store like I originally planned to. The temptation of saving $30 and a couple hours install time had already cost me. Once I got to Apple they managed to get diagnostics from the phone just before it stopped working entirely even when plugged into a charger. They said in addition to the battery not being an apple part (which is fine because they told me that at g fix) they detected the wireless charging was damaged because that is right next to the battery and gets damaged if you don’t know what you are doing. So they could not guarantee it would work even if they swapped the battery.By this point my phone was a brick so I was told I was no longer eligible for a trade in and there were no deals for upgrades. I went to T-Mobile next door and they told me the same thing (unless you get a more expensive plan) so I came back and asked for a battery change because I felt taking the risk for $89 was better than paying $800-1000 bucks for a new phone. Had to wait again and they warned me again.10 minutes later the apple genius comes back and says he can’t fix the phone cuz they stripped the screws so he can’t even get it open. They had already told me if the bonding tabs were missing they wouldn’t be able to swap the battery but I guess I’ll never know if they screwed that up either. I was told all they could do is trade it for a used 11 pro max they had.For the price of that used phone I could just get a new iPhone 13 (not pro max). I ended up spending $800 and 6 hours of my time over a $60 battery repair from this place. Also the guy told me I have like 30 days to come back if there are any issues but when I got the bill by text (they don’t print) it said 7 days and no refunds.

THIS PLACE IS FRUAD!!!!! Don't go to this place I repeat they break phones. I took my phone to this place in the mall and all they had to do was replace my screen. They stole a plate and some screws out of my iphone and tried to cover it up by putting blue tape on the inside. I DON'T RECOMMEND this place at all. I had my phone for 8 years before coming to this place. Now my iphone 13 blacks out, power off on its own, over heat and wont stay charge since i took my phone here. Sam the store manager owned up to puting the blue tape in my phone and how unprofessional it was but argue to fix my phone properly.

AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS. There are other,, less deceitful businesses around Buford to repair your phones. As soon as I am able to access my phone content again I will be updating with pictures here as evidence of the extremely terrible quality repair performed by this business. G-Fix lies and deceives their customers and then skirts all responsibility. They perform extremely poor quality repairs which will lead to problems for the customers down the line, forcing you to either buy a brand new phone, or pay for yet another repair. When confronted with these issues they proclaim innocence and play stupid.I own a Samsung Galaxy S22. It had major screen cracks for well over a year but never actually caused performance issues so I let it be to save money. One day the bottom half of the screen went black. It was usable touch wise but you see nothing so I opted to try this business. This was about 3 weeks ago and I have fought with them ever since. They replaced my screen with a damaged screen, albeit very subtle and likely from distributor. But when this was pointed out 30 minutes after repair they insisted it was my fault and they could do nothing. I went back and forth with them for nearly a week about this. Promises were made of contacting me multiple times and they not once called me regarding the problem. Everytime this issue was addressed it was because I went out of my way to address it with them.Aside from the subtle crack which is honestly not the main issue, the screen had been blacking out, random black and green lighting would shower across the screen, multiple screen glitches and lighting errors have occurred multiple times a day since the repair. Even still G-Fix claimed no responsibility.Today my phone is done for. It was at 95% charge, a few minutes later I picked it up and the screen is black and I cannot turn it off or on. Since the repair the back cover of the phone has been coming off because they failed to actually secure it post repair. Before deciding to buy a brand new phone altogether I opted to investigate. In a factory Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, there are 15 screws which need to be undone in the back area to start disassembly. To my horror there is only 4 in place on this device post-repair. Absolutely inexcusable.People who are not tech savvy may never realize the consistent problems and errors made by this business but I have. I was already going to be filing a complaint with the attorney general of the state for consumer protections, not I just have more cause to.This business is shady, they lie, they manipulate and they deceive their customers on a daily basis then claim no responsibility when they are directly confronted and called out. Avoid this business at all costs.

Had my iPhone screen replaced a month ago. Upon pickup the repair guy says to ignore the notification on my phone warning me of a non Apple part. Great. Well I give it a shot and of course the screen is absolutely terrible. Glitches terribly and flat out doesn’t work half the time. I go back and explain and he was quick to happily put another screen in. Unfortunately the second screen is just as terrible as the first and so I will be going somewhere else now to pay yet again for a new screen in an attempt to make my phone usable again because these people don’t use quality parts.*UPDATE: I went to a different phone repair business and found out what the problem was. First off, the professional told me that the screen G-Fix used was the cheapest quality available. Secondly, G-FIX LOST SCREWS ON THE INSIDE OF MY PHONE-that explains all the glitching. Just a horrible business to deal with. Glad I found a professional who could handle the job.
