Have had a horrible experience visiting both locations in Buford. Wasted my money to get my taxes prepared and then was told I would be refunded by the last rep since I shouldn't of been charged for some services and the refund was approved by the manager at the Buford location. Have been waiting for over a month to get a refund by H&R Block and the rep on 06/21/25 said she was contacting the manager again and I would receive a call later today. Never got a call back and this is now the 3rd time I was told I would receive a call on when my refund would be received. Do not believe the bogus great reviews! Worth going to another location other than Buford or going elsewhere to get the services you are paying to receive. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Geetha is terrible at her job she told me it cost $250 for each year filed and she wanted an answer now before I waster her time. She couldn't even navigate the computer or use her printer correctly. How do you hire such incompetent people. Before I could even give an answer she figured I wasn't able to pay. She assumed I didn't because I am black and came in with sweats. I swear I hate going to hr block

Everyone at this office welcomed us. Taxes done in less than an hour. We have already booked an appointment for 2024.

I was going to get my taxes filed here and I had an emergency happen and was not able to make my appointment and I feel absolutely horrible and I was going to call them the next day and reschedule because I literally could not move my legs and was on bedrest but then I got a message about how I didn't cancel in the message literally read "you missed your appointment, thanks for giving us the update that you weren't going to be able to make it", The passive aggressiveness, also I thought those messages were automated but they're not also the receptionist has no idea what she's doing she didn't even know how much the appointments were because I was supposed to have an appointment earlier but I only found out how much the appointment would be which is $450 which is understandable whenever I sat down with the tax person and I didn't have that money ready upfront which I should have been able to know that ahead so I wouldn't schedule for the day off, I do not recommend this place they definitely are not professional at what they do and when it comes to some thing that you literally have to do that is taxes you have to be professionals to know that they're actually in charge of vital information such as taxes and filing them correctly

We absolutely LOVED H&R block and how simple doing our taxes was made. The only reason we might not use it next year is all dependant on simplicity of our taxes next year and cost.
