My tax preparation was very long, 2 1/2 hour visit. Taxes kicked back next day. No fault of the the person who did the taxes. But when talking to him out of concern, he was very defensive, no ideas on how to correct the problem. I am told to do nothing. I had to continue to explain that it was no fault of anyone, but the IRS kicked it back and must to corrected and resubmitted. Still park (preparer) continued to defend himself and telling me that i did nothing, and i should do nothing. This became the worse visit to jackson hewitt. I called and jackson hewitt in decatur ga, speaking with a preparer. Stated that I could go into any office to assist me in the correction.

Terrible communication. Their hrs say from 11AM to 7Pm on Sunday on Google. I went online and scheduled an appointment and was confirmed for 11am because I have a tight schedule today. I get here nobody is here at 11 and I noticed the hrs on the door say 12pm to 4pm nobody has updated and they are allowing you to schedule.

I try to be positive and I always post honest reviews.I came in and sat down with a gentleman of Korean maybe Asian ethnicity.His race isnt the point I’m only describing him,didn’t matter if he was blue.I didn’t work in 2023,2024 because I had a back surgery,yet I still bad dependents.He informed me I couldn’t put them on my taxes because I hadn’t worked.I told him that is incorrect they still lived with me and I still had to take care of them.He insisted that I couldn’t and didn’t even ask abt my other income sources.I also own a trucking company and small vending service.I told him ok and I left in the parking lot I called H&R Block in Buford.Was told you can come right now and we will take care of you.Im so glad I didn’t let him discourage me into thinking I dnt get anything for my children.Sir you was wrong I got the full payout for both years for my dependents.Also I got a nice return for my small businesses.This guy has absolutely no idea what he’s doing,thanks George at H&R Block.

We have used Jackson Hewitt for 30 years. It is such a relief to provide the documents and have it all filed, organized and complete in one appointment. The tax preparer was very polite, knowledgeable and provided excellent service by Mr. Mehung Park. Thank you!!

The office in Buford was conveniently located from my location in Hamilton Mill. I was about 18 days ahead of the filing dead line so no crowds or waiting.I dropped my records off with Arthela Ramey, the JH franchisee. Taxes were done on time as promised and the service was courteous, professional and efficient.I am very pleased. Thank you

Overpriced and would not include information for home office. I am not confident that my preparer got me the most that she could have without including my home office information. I will not use them ever again
