“We used their catering services for a wedding, and it turned out spectacular! Willie was such a blessing as we were running out of time just days before the wedding, and he assured us with a calm demeanor that they could make enough food for 75 people in time with no problem. And he delivered (physically and figuratively!) Willie was able to give us an extremely affordable price for the event food, and also delivered everything in person to the event, also assisting us with small items such as food trays and checking in during the event to make sure that everything was okay. Overall, the food was amazing, the service was welcoming and very gracious, and the cost was so affordable for everything we received. Our wedding wouldn't have been near as enjoyable without their help. Thank you Willie and team for being a part of our beautiful occasion!”

“Got fish and shrimp multiple times from Astra Fresh, and no complaints at all. Fish cleaning and cuts are perfect, so it’s just take home and cook! Sea food always felt fresh and good to taste. Pricey but worth it!”

“My husband and I have been coming here for what I feel has been over a year!! When I say you feel at home In this place I mean it. They make note to remember who you are, what your favorites are. I’m known for buying banana pudding weekly and I cannot be blamed with how good it is. I tell Lauren, the woman behind the magic of some of the homemade desserts that she puts some love in it everytime I buy it. The meats are a different story, I won’t buy meat anywhere else. You taste the difference and the quality is unmatched. I rave about this place to everyone and have had people tell me thank you for telling them about Wilkes!”

Joyce (owner) and Alvaro (butcher) are fantastic! They know their meats and great to speak with. Alvaro makes a fantastic chuck-brisket blend for burgers. They make their own beef jerkey (moist and full of flavor) and some of the best pickle variety I have seen.

“If you want to buy a prime steak, buy it here.1. Their prime filets are the best in town, Ferguson's and Wilke's are selling you choice filets.2. They sell several types of high-end bacon by the slab. 3. The country market is impressive; more homemade canned veggies and fruits than I have seen anywhere. 4. They do not have the most friendly meat counter/butcher person for some odd reason. They could definitely do better at their customer service.”
