Waste of time. Schedule appointment to get my under six inches (specified on the website) crack from a rock from the road done.Had been raining all day and they call me just 30 minutes before to tell me that if the car isn’t dry they can’t work on it to reschedule for another day. By the time my second appointment was reschedule the crack had gotten bigger, guy comes in to say the can’t fix it.Got a message with a video on how to prepare for the second appointment and nothing for the first.Knowing that the car needed to be dry could’ve manage to keep car under a roof.

Safelite did a poor job and scratched the paint on my car in the process as well as damaged retaining clips for the cowling and I have windshield adhesive bulging into the interior and damaging the interior fabric. Manager Kevin was dismissive about it and told me to call the 1-800 number that is only open M-F and then the agent I spoke with knows NOTHING about cars. So a 1 visit windshield replacement will now involve another trip to Safelite AND a body shop. I will NEVER use Safelite again.

A rock hit my windshield and the crack started spidering so I went through insurance to get it replaced. The process of booking the appointment through Safelite was simple and quick! I took my car in and dropped it off this morning. The receptionist was so sweet and a tech called me to let me know that my car was done and could be picked up. (On top of the email and text notifications) They also vacuumed my floor mats! All in all, it was a great experience! I hope I won’t have a need to use them again but if I do, I would definitely choose to go back!

was disappointed the they would not give an estimated cost to replace the windshield on my F150. Google Search said get an estimate, After filling out all of the info requested it would only take me to the page to schedule the replacement. Hate misleading scam sites

Really disappointed with the lack of accurate communication when getting a windshield replaced here.

Had to have my back windshield replaced. It is a heated and powered window which is important. Called to have someone sent to me because the location is far from me. Guy came out, brought to wrong window. Okay no problem. Scheduled me an appointment to Buford location and left my vehicle there for the day. Picked it up the next morning and all seemed well until I went to turn my vehicle off and it stayed on even when the key was removed and the doors opened. Called and they said they'd send someone out and my battery would likely die. Die it indeed did, guy came and declared it dead and said he'd send someone else to deal with it because he couldn't charge it. Knowing my battery would die he didn't come prepared. Cool. Next day new guy came out, charged the battery, unplugged the new window, and left it like that. Sometime during those two interactions my vehicle key got broken and has not been fixed. Then water was coming into the window because Buford gave me an after market window and it didn't fit my vehicle. Called for a new appointment sent me to a different location. Which is also over an hour from me. Went out there, they didn't have what I needed in stock, even though I called. Came back out a week later and finally got a new window that works and doesn't leak. Ten hours of driving back and forth. Weeks of waiting. Not to mention the paint damage to my vehicle and the glass left inside of it.

AVOID THE BUFORD LOCATION AT ALL COST!Initially had my windshield replaced on 9/23/23 through our insurance. Instructions was to not visit the car wash for the next 24 hours. I visited the car wash on 10/8/23 and noticed that there was an excessive amount of water on the bottom left and right corners where the windshield meets the dash and the carpet was soaked with water on the driver and passenger side floorboard. We contacted safelite and made an appointment for 10/13. An employee had informed us that a new seal would possibly need to be place but after inspection a different glue was used and a new windshield was placed. I visited the car wash again on 11/19 and the floorboard on the driver and passenger side was soaked. Made a 3rd appointment with safelite for 11/21. The tech had informed us that they did not see any issues with the seal or the windshield and recommended us to take it to the Nissan dealership. We finally got our insurance involved because this was ridiculous. They initially told us that there was nothing they can do and Safelite needs to remedy the damage. But after keeping them up to date on our issues, they got Safelite Corporate involved. On 12/4, I heard an excessive amount of water leaking onto the carpet. After inspection, the carpet/floorboard was soaked with water. We made an appointment at Nissan for 12/9. On 12/9 Nissan tech informed us that there was a leak coming from the seal and advised us to take it back to safelite. We took the vehicle back to safelite on 12/9. The manager and the tech flat out did not believe us. I got the Nissan tech’s number and called them while we were at Safelite and told them EXACTLY where it was leaking. Shortly after we dropped the vehicle off at Safelite on 12/9, the safelite tech called me and said that there was a small hole and that was where the leak was coming from. They replaced the windshield AGAIN on 12/11. My husband took it straight to Nissan afterwards to confirm it was not leaking and they confirmed it was still leaking and charged my husband 150.00 diagnostic fee. On 12/18, we took it back and said to them we do not want this vehicle back until you have confirmed it is not leaking. They told us they could not do that. After advising with our insurance and Safelite corporate they told us to pick up the vehicle and take it through a car wash after the permitted time had passed. I noticed on the last receipt that we received it was more expensive than the previous receipts and come to find out they added another part, which I’m guessing is moulding or some kind of strip. The Nissan tech had provided us a quote of 1200 for the carpet damage. We submitted all of our receipts from our Safelite trips, uber rides to and from Safelite, car washes, quote from Nissan. After some time, Safelite corporate took care of everything and reimbursed us for all the car washes, Uber rides, and the diagnostic fee. The manager and assistant manager were straight poop. I kept taking it back to the Buford location because they messed it up to begin with and needed to be held responsible.

They ordered the wrong windshield to begin with and blamed it on the supplier. It may be true but when I finally got back in after Christmas ( took about 2 weeks for parts) they offered free windshield wipers but failed to realize that they didn’t have the right parts again! I said just don’t worry about it cuz i didn’t want to have to come back a third time for the same issues…

They did a great job replacing the front windshield of my car after a truck kicked up a brick at my face on the highway. It was super fast and very convenient and the cheapest quote I got in the area. The only window accessories I have are a rear view mirror and wipers, both were reinstalled correctly and without issue. Thanks guys!

I was pleased with the service done on the car, but did not appreciate being told on the phone to come in 2 hours before the car was ready and then being gaslit into thinking that no one at the shop had spoken with me at all over the phone. If you're planning to use Safelite, consider recording your own calls with them.

Still hasn’t calibrated my wife’s windshield. It’s impossible to talk to a live person on the phone. They use to be a great company but they’ve gotten to big for themselves now. Shop local and support a local glass company instead of this company now.

I would advise you to not go here and either go to a different safelite or a more reputable glass repair vendor. They did a very poor job fixing a chip on my windshield. Had to take it to a different shop to get it repaired correctly. It may depend on the technician, but my experience was poor at this location.

This is in reference to a simple windshield replacement conducted at the Safelite location located at 1739 Buford Hwy NE Buford GA 30518. WARNING! WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS SAFELITE LOCATION! My nightmare started on Oct 5, 2023 when I had an appointment for a simple front windshield replacement. After the replacement on the following day I had to go out-of-town. I notice that my passenger side windshield wipers were inoperative, my auto windshield rain detection was inoperative and my windshield jet sprayer was not working. I returned to this location on Oct 9, 2023 with the vehicle expecting it to be looked at because that is what customer service instructed me to do. The manager at this location said I needed to make an appointment for warranty work. This is the 2nd trip to the location trying to resolved the issue. Returned the next day (3rd trip) on Oct 9, 2023, found that the wipers were left disconnected, the windshield calibration was off and the jet sprayer issue was undetermined. I went back and forth with 5 customer service agents and the management at that location because management at this location scores a 0 out of 5-stars!! They were very non-chaluent in resolving the issue giving me a deer-in-the headlight look while I express my concerns. After expressing to Satellite CS that I refuse to take it back to the Buford location because of their behavior, I took it to Safelite at 6654 Jimmy Carter Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30071. IMMEDIATELY, I notice the difference in the experience when I walk thru the door. The attendant at this location was extremely polite and was already aware of the issues I had and they immediately went to work. The technician assigned to my vehicle was just as professional and talk to me at least 3-4 times about the status of my vehicle. They get a 5-Star rating from me for their efforts. My vehicle was FINAL completed on NOV 3, 2023. This is only a summation about my experience because it was also a nightmare dealing with CS of Safelite trying to get returned telephone calls to address my issues. I had to go thru USAA, my insurance provider in order to promptly get to Safelite in order to speak with someone.

I was going to give 2 stars, but here's why they get 5 from me. Due to a misunderstanding about part numbers, the Corning Gorilla Glass I requested was not installed on my jeep. Instead the standard Mopar oem glass was used. Ive had to replace standard glass 3x in this jeep and Gorilla glass only once, so I think its absolutely worth the price difference. Anyway, the installation of the wrong glass was done quickly, at the scheduled time, and the technicians were friendly and professional. However, when I noticed the glass that was installed, I was extremely disappointed because I had specifically asked when making the appointment and then asked again to confirm that they had ordered and received the gorilla glass when I arrived. When I checked with Brandi (sp?) at the front desk regarding the part number and confirmed that they had installed the glass I specifically did not want, I was really disappointed. I had a hunch that contacting corporate wouldn't get me anywhere, so I had just resigned myself to wasting the money on a windshield I would have to replace within 18 months. Brandi and the manager to the rescue. I hadn't even left the parking lot when Brandi called to tell me she had spoken with her manager and they would put the correct glass in next week. I was shocked since I hadn't pushed for that because I didn't think it was worth making a scene, plus I realized that while these people specialize in auto glass, they can't possibly know everything about every kind of glass by heart. The mistake wasn't intentional, or even neglectful, they just didn't know. Have I wasted some time on this mix up? Yes. But it was an honest mistake and they're making it right when I truly thought there was nothing that could be done, or at least nothing I should go full Karen over. Because of Brandi and the manager, my thoughts of "I've never used Safelite before and I'll never use them again," have changed to, "I'll happily come to this Safelite again, but I'll be sure to check part numbers before they start ?."

I have been working with the Buford facility on a window replacement for over a month, everytime a commitment is made by their staff it’s not kept. The only nice and professional staff they have are the receptionist who pretty much route you to the appropriate parties.I had an appointment to which they ordered for over three weeks a part that arrived and was wrong, no one called until I got there after taking time off from work just to hear that they ordered the wrong part. It’s been over a week and multiple call and yet never heard back from the manager. This is by far the worst display of service and professionalism I’ve ever seen.
