Went today 1/12/24 to get a new phone. We walked in and there was 1 gentleman ahead of us because you have to scan a QR code to get help. We waited approximately 30 minutes and not even a Hello, we will be with you shortly. They were not busy at all, I even walked around the showroom thinking maybe they would say Hi. Left and drove to Gainesville where we were welcomed in and the their team was super knowledgeable. Don’t waste your time dealing with the Buford, GA location. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, they can’t even do this basics.

Great service today!! Alejandro went the extra mile to help me troubleshoot my new phone activation on my secure business mobile account. I did not have a number to call so he stood with me and got me through with them! He could have said I can’t help but instead, he said, “I would be glad to try!” They solved my issue and made sure my new device was working and I was back in business!. Thank you Verizon Buford!! ?

The manager Dena was lazy and unhelpful. I asked if they activate the new phones or if we do and she said we do it and the process is user friendly. She just didn’t want to help us! My husband and I are new customers and he got a defective phone. He took it back the next day and she asked him if our kids got a hold of the phone because it looked like it was peppermint in the charging port. We don’t even have kids! So rude and disrespectful! Deflected that the phone was defective and tried to blame our “imaginary kids” Then, she told my husband that she cancelled the defective phone, but never did. When we activated the replacement phone it gave him a number with a Texas area code! Unbelievable. We spent all day transferring the lines with customer service and he still cannot receive phone calls. This experience has been a nightmare. However, David was very helpful but I’m going to corporate about the sorry manager!

My daughter and I went into this location about 10 days ago and after being told we were going to receive free watches and tablets since we were both getting new lines and phones… we left with just watches.., when I asked the associate who had been assisting us about the tablets, he said, “no, just watches”. Also did not tell us about how to trade in our old phones for the credit.I asked around about the tablet, and even went to a different location, and I was told that we absolutely should have received the tablet as part of the promotion.I went back in today and was helped by Kim, who was AMAZING!She apologized for the other employee and then took the time to explain everything to me, gave me the two tablets and connected me to customer service who assisted me with the needed trade in information.If it weren’t for Kim, I wouldn’t have given a 4-star rating…and if she had helped us on our initial visit, I would have given all the stars!Bottom line… go in and ask for Kim!!!

The manager Anthony has the worst attitude. We were next in line after being on the waiting list for 30 minutes. He went and helped two customers that had just walked in. Another employee explained that we had already been waiting 30 minutes and that we were next. Anthony didnt care and said it was okay. He continued to help other customers ,resulting in us waiting for 40 minutes until another representative was able to assist us.

I went to have a cell phone fixed that was having issues. The sales representative pushed us into changing our plan saying that “it would improve our coverage and help with the issues we were having”. It did not change anything coverage wise. He also lied about the perks with the new plan and added on packages we did not ask for. Total scam, been on the phone and chatting with Verizon for 2 hours now trying to get everything fixed. Will be reporting this franchise to corporate Verizon and the BBB.

Horrible customer service, as I sit here and write this review I'm in the store now. I've been waiting for an hour. Came here to return a phone and get a screen protector should've only taken no more than 5mins. It took them 30min just to sign me in on the waiting list and now I sit here waiting even longer it's been 54mins since then. Terrible service, slow delivery on the sales team. Also there's other employees in the back that could be helping but there just back there only God knows doing what.

Unhelpful and rude. Customer service tells you one thing but the in store reps say they can’t help. They don’t even try to help. They do whatever they can to get you out of the store as fast as possible.

The reviews were spot on, I wanted to give them a chance but as soon as I walked in all hopes went down the train.Just wanted a simple phone upgrade and preorder for the new iPhone 15 because the app wasn’t allowing me to, no big deal. As soon as I got to the store and asked for help got told it can all be done online. After needing to ask if they could help me with it because I was having issues, again I was told I can do it through the app and the preordered phone wouldn’t be able to ship to the store and it would need to be shipped to my house I gave up and left.Went to the oakwood Verizon and as soon as I walked in was greeted and helped. I’ve been to the oakwood store before and they’ve never disappointed. Would rather drive the extra 20 minutes to visit another store than deal with this store again.

Employees seem bothered to be asked any questions, just directing you to go online for everything.We tried online and couldn’t figure it out. We were hoping going in person would help clear things up - but they didn’t even want to look up from their phone. Super dismissive. Super unwelcoming.

Pointless location. Went in to upgrade 5 of the phones on our business account, was told the entire company system was down. Walked out to my truck, called Verizon customer service and got all of the phones exchanged in 15 minutes. So what's the point of this location being there? At least I learned that I don't need to ever go back to this location again.
